Savannas Preserve State Park reviews
14My husband & I stopped to take some pictures of"Nautical but Nice", Not knowing "Mel "was there, what an amazing "Man". He truly is a "TRUE AMERICAN", I can't wait to go to their "Grand Opening" Mel & Suzie, "Welcome to Jensen Beach. "….
Mostly scrub pine and saw palmetto. Nothing much to look at. This area gets controlled burns every 2-3 years.
We had a nice 100 minute walk. Many trails and avenue to see wildlife.
Don't forget to bring water.
Its always a nice distraction from the day to day.
I was part of a Publix Serves event. We helped to pick up trash and remove invasive species of plant life. The Park Staff guided us and worked along side us. They gave us educational information as we worked. If you want a fascinating experience, learning about our local eco-system and being in a great natural environment, please visit. Also, the Education Center on the Walton Road would be a great time. Enjoy!
Great place for a walk with the dogs. Never tons of people out here either during the week.
Very nice quiet preserve. Be prepared with boots, long pants, long sleeved shirt if you plan in taking a walk def natural florida with walken path. Eating tables and very clean restroom.
Great place for a walk in the Florida outdoors. There's alof of native flowers and animals to photograph.
Very nice. Nice soft open trail for the most part. I discovered I do have a fear of gators, but we saw none.
Absolutely beautiful Martin county Park. Great variety of trail surfaces and Bunches of turtles and bunnies around.
My favorite place to hike and bike but be prepared to be knee deep in wetland if you try and complete the white trail!
Hard to rate as we didn’t make it very far. Is it just me or are st park maps sometimes useless? This is in regards to biking. Headed out on what we thought was main trail only to find a dead end at canoe area. A trail just before that said foot path only. So we went back to the beginning again and took the only other path and wound up in old parking lot. We saw a park map there that showed a bike at path where we read foot path only. We gave up and rode back to our camper. Prob should have gone to office first.
Great. But, Someone. Employed, By. The, Preserved: Park. Should, Check. And, Pick-Up. All, Fund's. Admission-Fee's. At, The: Preserved, Park!
Beautiful and peaceful wetland area. It might be muddy but you see such special wildlife and plants. Always a great walk!
People are asked to pay by putting money in an envelope. What? Why isn't this area free? What is so special about it? - Someone should pick up the trash on the trail since we pay for admission. There are a lot of bottles, cans, and other trash along the way. A good place for bottle hunters. Found an old Heinz Ketchup bottle with an engraved logo - not a bad find in the litter. There should be trail camera's in here to catch people dumping trash. There needs to be signs stating litter will cost you X. Wake up!
