6WHERE YOU CAN GO TO SHOP FOR LOW PRICE ON GROCERIES AND ALSO HAVE SOME NAME BRAND PRODUCTS FOR A CHEAP PRICE AS WELL AND YOU CAN GO TO SHOP THERE BUY GROCERIES UNDER DOLLARS
I like save-a-lot but they seem to get on my nerves with the narrow aisles and then adding racks of stuff in them teetering. They usually have decent prices but they will tell you something is a great sale when it's at regular price. Say something is 2 for $2. They'll say the great sale is 1 for a dollar. What a great savings? They assume everyone is stupid. Well guess what save-a-lot, I'm watching you! And I know your tricks. Oh 1 more thing they place racks in the aisles in front of the register so how the hell is someone supposed to use the register. People are in line to the left and right. So who is stupid now save-a-lot? (0,0) Go at closing time, no one's in the store. I contacted corporate about the racks in the isle. They never got back with me. It just keeps getting worse and worse.
This is an off brand store like Aldi. I like it. They have really good Latino stuff. I bought a loin of pork on sale $1.99. It was melt in your mouth. I love Lala crema. Friendly neighborhood place and as always shop with care. The coupons are fantastic but you must get there early.
Great place for deals, relatively friendly clerk- Veeery few people in store though. Also not a whole lot of selection for some things. Edit: The 'lack' of options is. Namely in brand selection; but that's okay, if I wanted more selection of brands, I'd go to a big name superstore like Walmart! There was a rather good variety of things to choose from, still.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Good knowledge of where items are in the store. Lots of fresh produce. Prices aren't as low as they used to be but that's the same everywhere. Still a great place to shop when you're on a budget. They could use a daily security guard though.
