Save A Lot reviews
13This save a lot is so much nicer than the usual save a lot. Well organized, really great produce area. So much soulection really a great presentation apond entering the door. Great prices and they have just about everything you could be looking for. Great frozen food aisles. They carry some name brands as well. Like Hellman's mayonnaise 3 dollars and change for the 30 oz. Size. As usual the employees are very helpful and friendly. Still friendly employees and always there to help you. Great place to shop.fast service. And helpful people working there.
It's ok, generic labels, you have to pay for your grocery cart 25cents and your grocery bags, if you want generic cheap food then this is your store, I must say the staff is very very friendly and courteous.they do have some deals, worth checking it out,
The place itself is not horrible it's the fact it is called save a lot I saw cheaper options somewhere else
Very nice place and very clean but not a lot of selections at the store, all the employees were nice except one of them she is very rude once a kid poked a watermelon and then charged the mother triple times of what the water melon costed she won’t let anyone touch the stuff she put on the shelf she’s not just mean to kids but adults to I dont know how I feel about coming back
I like it because it's convenient and they do send out excellent coupons every month. If you see them then KEEP THEM & USE THEM! Milk can get expensive but those little cut out coupons help big! Be sure to read the fine print. There's a $10 minimum for using coupons but you'll get a gallon milk for example. Well worth it. Other than that down side is after all the gaining popularity of generic shopping Save-a-lot is not so very "savealot-ish" anymore but still it's there for us close locals in warm mineral springs. It's them or DG across the street and that place is the absolute worst, dirtiest, empty shelves, rudest ugliest manager disrespectful unorganized inconsistent dollar general around. Especially after most of the everyday guys all left after new manager hiring. (Frank, Ronald, Sara)
Stopped cause I was passing by on way home. Got couple things but had no raisins so had to go to another store anyway
Man/owner at register, rude and arrogant, business will fail with this attitude. No one else in store but no surprise there.
Shop here quite often, as it's very close to home. Today, I needed to pick up a gallon of 2% milk, something I normally don't purchase here, as it averages $1.25 higher than any other local supermarket. There was a full cooler of 2% milk-most with an expiration date of TODAY. Did some searching and did find a gallon with an expiration date of two days from now. It's too bad they charge so much more than their competition. Guess they'd rather throw out many gallons of milk than sell at a fair price.
If you hate a crowd you will like this place. It's never busy when I go. You bag your own groceries and you pay for the bags. So bring your own. This used to mean your groceries were cheaper. But they have raised their prices so much that some things cost more than Walmart. Check the meat carefully before you buy. It's hit or miss. The weekly specials are usually a good deal. Don't forget to bring a quarter if you want a shopping cart.
Familiar format with wider than usual selection. Attractive prices compared to Walmart, Leidel, Publix, etc.
At first I wasn't too sure about shopping at Save-A-Lot it kind of reminded me of all these and Dollar General mixed together but now I do find myself shopping there often and I have no complaints whatsoever
Save a lot is OK the only thing that I don't like is that you have to pay for the chopping car and the backs that you bag in your groceries Is plenty of parking
Cashier was wearing perfume that I am allergic to, I told another cashier if I could check out in another line because of it, she let me but the one wearing the ungodly amount of perfume told me " I should wear a mask"! Because of this INCONSIDERATE cashier I will not ever shop there again! The North Port store.
