We came down to Destin for a week for thanksgiving and I just really wanted to do some fishing of any kind with the kids. We went out on a super cold day but we really had a great time. I’m horrible with names but the captain who I believe is also the owner was fun, informative and great with my kids. We just did a short trip due to time constraints for us but it was 100% worth it. They have the best reviews on Google and after my trip with them it shows why. Don’t even think about going with anyone else.

Captain Nick was awesome! Put right where the fish were. We had a party of 4 that he fit us in last minute on a very nice day. Almost reached our limit of Mangrove fish. Heading to Brotulas to have them cooked up tonight. Nick will help as little or as much has you want him to. Great captain and had a safe, fun day on the water!

Capt Nick was awesome. We couldn’t have found a better captain to take us out fishing. It rained our entire day but Nick had us on fish constantly and never once complained of the dire weather conditions. Such a nice man to be around with all day as well. Can’t wait to get back out there with him next time my family and I are in town!

15 year wedding anniversary and one our top experiences ever! Booking was super easy. Nicks wife was great to talk with, answered all our questions and got us all set up! Nick was a fantastic captain and definitely knew what he was doing. He knew all the perfect spots to go because we caught quite a bit of fish as well as had a crazy adventure hooking a Tarpon that gave us quite the pull and Im pretty sure as we released him, that Tarpon laughed at my husband and I's exhaustion. What an experience! Next year we will definitely be back and bringing our 4 kiddos as well! We hands down recommend this charter! Not only a fun experience but great people to deal with! Nick was awesome! My boyfriend and I went on a fishing trip for his birthday and we had the best time today! We will definitely be going again next time we are in Destin for vacation and recommend his business!

Had a great time fishing! We will look at coming back again for sure when in the area again. If you want to find fish book a trip. We love to fish and when we travel we try and book a trip. It makes vacation fun when you get to land lots of fish and learn about the area. Captain Nick was great and shared his knowledge.

Captain Nick was awesome. He’s very knowledgeable and entertained our party throughout the whole trip. This is our first time fishing. We caught two HUGE fishes and countless of decent size ones within a short period of time. He definitely exceeded our expectation!

Words cannot express the amount of fun we had with captain Nick today. We spent the morning looking for sharks and finished out limiting out on snapper while catching some jacks, grouper, and mackerel. Captain Nick was super friendly and made the whole experience memorable for everyone. I'll definetly be booking with scallywag charters again!

We had a great time fishing with Captain Nick. We caught a lot of mangrove snapper and giant redfish. It was our 2nd time fishing with C Nick. We will definitely call him again next time we are in town. Highly recommend Scallywag Charters!

We were very disappointed with our 4 hour trip. The captain was nice but not prepared at all. We were supposed to meet at 5: 45 but he text us and asked us to come at 6: 30…ok no big deal. We get there and he had nothing ready. So we stop to get ice and bait.they were out. So we had to go catch bait which was pretty much the only fish we caught and took up about half of our trip. We would have been better off spending our $900 elsewhere, lesson learned.

Best. Vacation. Ever. 10/10 experience with Scallywag Charters and Captain Nick. Booking a fishing charter with this company in Destin was beyond epic! From start to finish, everything was a breeze. My kids are still raving about their unforgettable charter! It was their favorite activity by far! Count us in for next year. We’ll be back again. Highly recommend this crew!

My husband and son went fishing with Scallywag this year and last and had a great time. Fishing with Scallywag Charters is now a part of our yearly Destin vacation trip “Must Do’s”. We definitely recommend Captain Nick, you won’t be disappointed. Everything from the communication, professionalism and price was all amazing!

Captain Nick was the best. We went on a quick 2 hour trip and he packed in plenty of fish. Could not recommend this charter more. We had a great time and my kids won’t stop talking about it. Nick is one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable people you’ll meet.

We had a great time with Nick today. We limited out on mangrove snapper and red fish. We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to fish in Destin, Fort Walton.

Captain Nick got my son aquatinted with salt water fishing today. We set out on a kid trip for 2 hours. Booking was a breeze. He got to our spots quickly, taught us the ropes, and set us on ‘em. Friendly, polite, great set up, professional, and on time. My son liked Captain Nick so much he was planning at least 2 more trips before we returned to the dock. We look forward to let him guide us out further for the big ones soon.

I booked Shark fishing for my husband, son, brother, & nephew here.
They got started late due to the captain working on his boat when they arrived. Then he had them go get ice for him before they got started.
They did not have a good experience. The captain was very talkative and nice enough, but they didn’t touch a pole until the captain hooked a shark.
My husband & son have gone on several fishing trips in the gulf. They have always been involved in the “fishing”, whether that be baiting hooks, casting, holding the rod, etc, besides this trip. The only time anyone got to do anything is when the captain hooked one, then he’d hand the pole to one of them to reel it in.
My brother and son each reeled in smaller sized sharks. My husband and nephew didn’t (we know it can be hit & miss) but the captain also ended their trip a few minutes early too.
Started late. Ended early. Only 2 sharks caught. (Understand that sometimes that can’t be helped) Overall it wasn’t a good time and wasn’t worth the price.
We will not book here again.

6 hour trip late morning to afternoon/evening. Was a remarkable trip even with choppy seas. Nick took us right to the fish and was an excellent teacher as far as technique in how to bring those red snapper in. If you’re looking for a solid charter, look no further. We will be going again! All good things.
