Oops, forgot to hit send. Well today November 29th I returned. Can't put it in the correct words. Wow! I left Dr Schmitt and his assistants today with a complete set of teeth. I am overwhelmed. I'm crying, my family cried and my grandchildren were in awe and confused. That was a beautiful moment. Dr Schmitt went above and beyond my expectations for having a mouthful of teeth again. It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I give this reference and recommendation for Dr. Scott Schmitt DMD, MS (and his entire office) of Schmitt Prosthodontics in Altamonte Springs, FL. Dr. Schmitt came to me as a referral for a dental implant restoration from Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Daniel Crofton of Oviedo, FL.

From the start, I was completely blown away at the very personal and directed attention to my case - restoration of crown and completion of a dental implant. My case was actually a
complicated re-do of a failed abutment and crown from another dentist. Not only does he schedule his patient's case individually so he can give undivided attention to his patients, he really does attend to his patients personally and actively from the moment you walk in to his office. His examination, skill set, and professionalism is beyond reproach. While, to my understanding, he doesn't take insurance, his fees are well with in reason and 100% worth every penny. I even think they work with financing etc, if needed. Shout out to Esmerelda (front desk) and his Dental Assistant Jacqueline who were both AMAZING!

In conclusion, this Doctor is a pro. I very highly recommend him and his office for (really any of) your dental needs.

Don’t waste your time or money! Pit bulls for receptionists. No clear guidance on procedures. Referred me to a oral surgeon and was not in communication with the oral surgeon. When asked about oral surgeon the text response was they don’t handle the fees so to contact the surgeon. I never mentioned fees. But the receptionist was sure to advise me to bring the monies upon next visit. For $263.00 for a comprehensive Oral evaluation I received the items in the picture. Stay away from this place. No insurance accepted as well. I wanted a one stop shop and I found it and am happy with the dentist that did my implants!

Dr Schmitt is very understanding and supportive of my decision. He explains things very well.

Dr. Schmitt took the time to really listen to my story and concerns. He was patient and kind. He took all the time I needed. I felt something sharp on the underside of my fixed bridge. They got me in the same day. Smoothed it out and I was on my way. Great office, very professional best in town for what they do. Absolutely.

From top to bottom front to back Dr. Schmitt’s practice is wonderful. Dr. Schmitt is a comforting, understanding man who happens to be the best in his field. He has a great attention to detail always thinking of his patient. You never feel rushed and always feel totally informed.
The staff surrounding Dr. Schmitt is honestly the best I’ve ever seen - and I’ve seen a lot. Not one weak link in this office. Sweet, caring professional individuals who get the job done for their patient. I am grateful to them for their patience as I has proven to be an elusive (travel) and anxious client thus far. After 22 years my tooth implant broke and needed to be replaced. Since it was an old type of implant my dentist was unable to help (implant no longer available) and referred me to Dr Schmitt. He was able to make the new replacement tooth, a one piece type model that fit into the old implanted base. Very meticulous and a great personality. I highly recommend him. Only minus is that he is a cash only, no dental insurance, but will provide you with the necessary information to file.

Courteous and friendly attention. Dr. Made every effort to resolve my problem.only time will tell if his efforts to resolve my problems was successful.

Dr Schmitt and Jacqueline are like The Lone Ranger and his trusty sidekick Tonto…never to be duplicated. They are the ABSOLUTE BEST! Their work is impeccable. I’ve been to multiple practices In several states, none can compare to this TEAM!

I have been seeing Dr Schmitt for a few years. He is an adequate prosthodondist. However, my last visit I was quite shocked with the change in his practice. The cost of his services are exhorbitant. $8,000 for a two tooth bridge over existing implants AND wanted all the money up front. His practice will not assist you with your Insurance (most likely because of his exhorbitant prices). He will also try to sell you insurance to cover any faults or events that may happen after his services are complete. There are other adequate Prosthodontists in Central Florida whose practice is more accomodating.
