Excellent learning center for kids. A lot of immersive activities, hands on, fun for kids. Ideal age is perhaps 2yrs old to 7yrs old, but generally fun for all ages.

The Schoolhouse Children’s Museum in Boynton Beach is an incredible place for kids. The museum offers different interactive stations for kids to play and explore. Our recent visit was for a birthday party, and it was nothing short of amazing. What sets this museum apart is the opportunity to have the entire place exclusively for the birthday.

We went for a birthday party and had an excellent time. My nieces were turning 1 and 3 yrs old. We had room for 2 hours and the kids loved it. The staff is very organized and helpful. And the kids have playtime in the library which was insane (in a good). Everyone was happy.

Great indoor activity for kids! They have a designated toddler area that my 19 month old loved.

This is a great place to have in your archive of things to do with little kids if you’re a local. Its inexpensive. It’s a two story building with pretend play throughout. Also a play ground outside.

There are different pretend play items for kids. A boat, truck, a kitchen, indoor playground, and some classes go on during the day and much more.
If you don’t have to bring a stroller then don’t-it gets really crowded. Also check their website because you have to make reservations before coming. Opens at 9 and closes at 12: 30. So if you get tickets for the day don’t leave your house too late…There are easily accessible bathrooms which makes if comfortable for changing your kids. If you do decide to bring a stroller (or have no choice lol) there is an elevator to bring you between the two floors. I went with my son-he’s almost 2.

I love this place for toddlers and young kids very interactive. We can go back again and again it does not get boring. The playground outside could use some more things but it’s very clean and nice lots of shade. I gave 4 stars cause I only wish they had food here anything even a hotdog stand out front would help so you don’t have to leave if you didn’t bring food.

Great time with my 18 month old! This place will be a new staple for us, especially in the summer when it's so hot outside!

Such a cute place to just have your kid explore and play. My kids have so much fun both in the museum and out in the playground.

It's a very interesting place in town, for an indoor activity, lots to see and play with. The toddler cove is great to keep babys entertained and safe because it has a gate. No food or drinks inside some of the areas.

This place has so many fun events. Also a great place for a toddler's birthday party. Especially during the summer with this Florida heat. Lots of exhibits for the kids to explore, all indoors. They help you set up a room for the food, cake, and guests to sit and eat. Matthew and everyone helped us so much and made my daughter's birthday very special. And made it stress free for the parents. Highly recommend!

We had a good time at the museum and in particular the kids loved the train and milking the cow. With a lot of people it was a bit crowded in places and kids rarely put the toys back in the right sections so it was a bit confusing the kids or they were uninterested in areas that everything was moved. I recognize kids imagination sees things coming together differently, but some extra helpers to move things back would be beneficial to keeping all the areas exciting.

Great place for young kids, a lot of pretend play, the place is always cold (good AC).
My 2 yo loves all the farming (first floor) while my almost 5 yo likes the second floor with a hospital and convenience store.
I paid $2 per person/kid showing my EBT card, the museum is part of the program "museum for all" and offers this reduce

I am so grateful that something like this is available not only for children, but for parents too. It’s a safe place for children to interact and play. It is always cool, which is great for Florida’s hot summer. It is very clean and the staff is great. Lastly, they have great programs from ballet to preschool prep classes and much more. I highly recommend the museum to parents with children! Do get the membership its worth it.

My 2 year old daughter enjoyed most of the exhibits here and had so much fun. Only complaint would be about communication. We were the first to arrive when they opened at 9am and the person at the desk just said we were good to go in. When Storytime happened at 10am they said we needed a wristband from downstairs. When I went downstairs I was informed that Storytime was full and that I was supposed to tell her when we arrived that I wanted a wrist band. I’m not sure how I would have known that since the website says nothing about a wrist band for storytime and the person at the desk did not inform me of that. So that was disappointing. While we enjoyed the museum this experience has not encouraged me to return.
