13The scooter worked great but the pickup store was not open at the time noted on the website and we waited over an hour for someone to show up. Next time we will use a more reliable and on time company.
Delivered a broken down scooter and failed to refund me the money, out $150. Filling a complaint with the department of consumer affairs, this company is a joke! Don’t let them ruin your vacation and jeopardize your safety or that of a loved one.
Their equipment is subpar and unsafe.
They are also committing crimes agains handicap people and will be contacting Florida state police they’re business practices are asinine.

Terrible experience! Do not rent from this company! They delivered a scooter to me in Salem that lasted about an hour before it broke down on me in a crowded public area causing embarrassment and a huge hassle! After two days of fighting with them to get a swap out they failed me and ruined my whole vacation! Never got the swap out and gave up and flew home early and now they will not even refund me the money I am due! Out $150 for nothing! Have called several times and no luck with refunding my remaining balance! Completely unacceptable and terrible customer service! Save yourself the frustration!
We wanted to attend our granddaughter's Regatta (Head of the Charles) in Boston this past weekend. Having to walk a distance of about 7 and 1/2 miles on the course is not an option for me due to my age & knee issues now. I looked into renting this mobility scooter as an option so I would be able to cheer her on. I'm so thankful that Scootaround was able to help me. The staff and everyone I spoke with were so helpful and curtious. They were able to deliver it directly to our hotel (which was an added plus.) They will be my go to Scooter rental from now on. I loved it so much I might eventually purchase one. All ended well because our beautiful granddaughter won a gold medal in her event. THANK YOU SO MUCH SCOOTAROUND! A top notch service!
Just about ruined our Orlando Vacation! We rented a scooter from them and had it delivered to our hotel near Seaworld.we took it to Seaworld for their Halloscream event.we didn't even get into the park before the scooter stopped working intermittently! We called Scootaround and they said they would try to deliver a replacement to us at the gate in an hour or 2 (if they could even find someone that late in the day to do it) and it would be an additional $25.because we did not want to stand outside the gate and waste another couple of hours, we decided to try to get through the night.it continuously stopped working for my Disabled husband.just about stranding him in the Park.we finally gave up about 9pm and left the park.after just arriving at 6pm.not worth the price of admission and certainly not the price of $100 it cost to rent the scooter for an evening. I went back and forth in an email with customer service who told me that you decided to keep the scooter, there is nothing we can do!
Terrible customer service! Will never rent from them in Orlando again.we cruise alot also and will not use their company again.
If I could rate them lower than one star, I would. My family and I went on a Disney vacation last week. Due to having multiple surgeries on my leg and foot, it makes it almost impossible to walk long distances without being in excruciating pain. This was our first time renting from this company and it will most certainly be our last. They delivered the scooter the first morning we were in town and that night we went to Disney springs. I had the scooter charging for about 8 hours before we went. 2 hours after walking around, the scooter died in the middle of Disney springs. We had to push the scooter all the way back to the car and go home. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought the scooter should’ve been charged a little longer. So we left it in charge for over 12 hours. The next morning, we go to magic kingdom and in the middle of a line, it dies again on a full charge. We call customer service and they agree to swap out the scooters. Several hours later, they drop off a new scooter. This scooter also died on a full charge. My advice to anyone in need of a scooter…RENT FROM SOMEONE ELSE!
The absolute worst. Don't waste your money or time. They lead you to believe you've booked a rental and then at the last minute tell you there is nothing available. Customer service is there for nothing other than to get you off the phone and move on to the next disappointed customer.

Excellent. Had to change hotels and they accommodated and changed our drop off/pick up with absolutely no issues.
This was the best experience I have ever had. Customer service was impeccable the scooter was ready when I got there, it never had a dead battery or a recharge was not needed the entire week. At the end of usage the scoot around employees escorted me to my vehicle and retrieved the scooter from there. I loved it!
Very accommodating went above and beyond. Easley found at cruise terminal. No problems with scooter. Price reasonable highly recommended. Norwegian escape January 14th to the 21st.
Wish we could afford just to purchase 2 of the lovely scooters. The young man who helped me with them was very nice, and have is a quick refresher on how to break them down from transport. I wish they had more locations & was able to pickup at more of their locations they do have.
