Throw that fish back. Or more specifically the oysters and more. We live less than 5 minutes away. We’ve eaten in and take out. Last night was the final nail…. Lousy oysters poorly prepared - soggy, okay shrimp, just okay, stale fries. Really disappointing.

For the price paid, one would expect higher quality seafood. As it was, the meal was fairly bland and the portions were not what I would think I was getting for the money paid. Plus on top of the expense of the meal, if you are paying by card they charge you even more.

Been going here for years but this is the first time I've come since the covid outbreak. The grilled fish sandwich was good as always. Agree with most on here that the prices are higher but that can be understood. The fried food was not spicy but a little spice can be added as well. When you use a credit card at the front it prompts you for gratuity. Please understand there is nothing there that merits gratuity. You order at the window and they do not bring your food to you. I figured okay no problem I will just simply get up when done at the table. The lady chased me down and said because of covid they don't pick up plates at the table. Bear in mind I come from the service industry so I gave a good tip up front. I don't regret giving a tip but just bear in mind that you're making a donation to the employees and you will get no service when you're eating here. I would suggest that management invest in latex gloves if they are concerned about picking up plates. But the irony hear is that I didn't see the people handling the food with gloves on. So now I guess that covid concern is a one way proposition?

We were visiting from out of town and I wanted some Fresh Shrimp. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the Shrimp was Great. I’ll definitely be back when I come visit again.

Haven’t been here in a few months. It seems to have gone down hill. Fish was cold and generally tasteless - mahi-mahi today. The best part was the French fries. Portions small compared to price. Won’t be back.

Quick, delicious food! We had a large party and they got our food out to us really quick. We were so happy with the flavor of our fish dishes, and we absolutely loved the fish tacos with a bit of tartar sauce! Highly recommend Scooters!

The fish and shrimp were fine, just very bland. A bit over-priced for the amount of food, but not horrible. We were on vacation and tried it based on the positive reviews, but just didn’t think it was nearly as good as the overall ratings that we had seen. The staff was very friendly though. It’s worth a try if you’re looking for something close and convenient to the beach.

We visited for lunch and had the grilled Mahi fish tacos. The fish was super fresh and the tacos were delicious. Couldn't miss an opportunity to get hush puppies and potato salad and neither disappointed. We enjoyed sitting outside on their patio.

They have fried cabbage and it's amazing, Best Hushpuppies I have eaten so far. Really great prices and a generous amount of food.

We had the fried fish and fried shrimp plates. Excellent food! Fried Seafood, fries, coleslaw and hush puppies all Excellent! Highly recommend if it's what you are craving.

Food was delicious. Staff was not so friendly. It was our first time there and they seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. Food is worth coming for though!

You could eat the food, fried oysters, grilled shrimp slaw, potato salad and hush puppies. It was ok but way overpriced and the staff left a lot to be desired.

I was very satisfied with service, food was discusting.ly delicious I have never been to a restaurant that as soon as I took the first bite I was amazed of the perfect flavor on everything on my plate that wanted seconds I ordered the grilled chicken dinner and oh my god I definitely recommend scooters restaurant.awesome food keep it up don't change your recipes I will definitely be back

So yummie but okra little salty, and need to be cooked more for me. I order platter oysters, shrimp, fish bb fcb my husband had fried shrimp, ff cs it was delicious and hit the spot!

I had fried Snapper, baked beans, cole slaw and unsweet tea. It was delicious and the prices were about the same all over town, A little high but that's what inflation is (Thanks Joe.)
My wife got fried shrimp and it was very fresh, everything cooked to perfection and even the iced tea was spot on!
Very clean reataurant, friendly staff and if you're a Veteran they'll knock off some the price for ya!

A little expensive to order at window. No info given about ordering process and finding eating utensils etc. Needs mor customer service.

Food has always been good. Shrimp, grilled swordfish, calamari were all quite tasty. Orders are cooked fresh so about as good as it can be. Shrimp serving is small and without an option to get a larger meal was a disappointment.

Ehh, the bang bang shrimp tasted like yesterday’s leftover fried shrimp tossed in a gallon of yum yum sauce and the fish tacos were very greasy. Kids meals very greasy, they wouldn’t eat. $70 order I expected a tad better quality I guess
