Alex was very helpful and provided insightful information! Instead of taking in my MacBook to repair, he suggested a couple of options that I had never thought to do prior. Actually, it appears that he fixed the issue I was having with my MacBook while at the appointment because I have not had the issue occur again. Very helpful

These guys are great. Very professional and knowledgeable. What blew me away is how connected you are with them. This shop is always on point with quick replies to your emails and keeping you up to date. I’ve dealt with some laptop repair shops before and I couldn’t say a single positive thing from the past. However, this shop, I will go back to and highly recommend. Keep up the great job.

My laptop is my job! And the thought of sending it to Apple for three days of service made my heart beat fast. The guys at SCOUT IT analyzed the problem, and when the part came in, I returned with my laptop. It was fixed within a couple hours. Absolutely the best!

Alex and the entire staff of SCOUT are THE best company I've ever dealt with. They have gone out of their way to save me money, and "lost" many hundreds of dollars in the process. In the end, I paid $29 for a simple cable, instead of getting an entire mother board replaced. To say they're honorable and full of integrity is an understatement! I recommend them OVER the Apple Store, because these guys actually care about customers. And it shows! Thank you, SCOUT!

These people may have saved my life today. They were wonderful, kind and gracious in the midst of this pandemic. My need of a computer is essential right now, and they were fast and efficient. They were unsure as to whether they had the part, but were gracious as they explained what it would look like if it had to be ordered. My sister had a great experience with them previously and raved. I'm a complete believer.

The SCOUT Team is great. I had a warranty issue and since the Apple Stores are closed- Apple recommended SCOUT and I am so glad they did. Greatest staff in the world at SCOUT.and they are located in YBOR! Thank you SCOUT!

I was given the name of SCOUT through the Apple Store. I was having difficulty with my computer during the COVID crisis so I was communicating via email with Alex. He was wonderfully attentive and extremely helpful in discerning my problem and making recommendations as to the correction. In the end, due to the age of my computer, I elected to purchase a new computer. SCOUT does not sell computers, so even in light of the fact that there was no financial gain to SCOUT, Alex guided me in determining the best computer to meet my needs. This company is SOLID. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone needing computer repairs.

By far the BEST place to go to to have your Apple products worked on. I dropped it off on a Tuesday 10 mins before they closed. I was greeted with a warm welcome and we even bantered over the roosters that love to hang out outside their building. Alexander quickly took my information, checked what was wrong with it and told me he would have it done by Thursday. At the time I assumed Thursday of next week, and he quickly corrected me and said, “Nope! Thursday, as in two days from now. ” I was in complete shock when Alexander told me this. Wednesday rolls around and Scout sent me a text informing me that my MacBook Pro would be ready Thursday as promised. They were so fast, efficient and friendly that I now know I will never go back into an Apple store for repairs. Best place all around!

Took my MacBook Pro to these guys for the standard keyboard replacement, and it turned out I had another issue requiring an entirely new logic board. However, it was out of stock at Apple's warehouse. This made what was initially thought to be a 2 day repair into a week because of the part delay. They were extremely understanding of my frustration at not having my work computer longer than expected, and they were highly communicative with daily updates. They continued to follow up with Apple, and since they didn't have the correct logic board, sent an upgraded one instead with 4X larger hard drive. I got my MacBook back with not only the new keyboard (and battery), but also a hard drive upgrade that would have cost $600 from Apple, for $0. If I ever have an Apple issue, I won't bother with the Apple store, I'll come right to Scout.

The Scout team was great! So helpful and honestly wanted the best outcome (which I got). The team was very welcoming from the beginning, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Personally I liked it better than the apple store because at Scouts it is more hands on. Will definitely be back!

The staff of this office provide the best of service and care. I have now used them multiple times for my iPhones and MacBook Pro. The highly positive experience that I have received each, and every time that I have come here have always made the trip worthwhile. I actually have to drive past an Apple Store to get to SCOUT, and will continue to do so because of the very friendly and personable professionalism of this office. I highly recommend their service!

This wonderful company was able to get me back to my work computer before I got on the road to leave to Miami. I'm even more grateful that they were able to check on my warranty. That saved me a great deal of $856.
I really want to advertise the 2 gentlemen that escalated the process for but for their own privacy, I'll remain as respectful as I can. But once again THANK YOU GUYS!

Awesome repair. Super friendly and fast same-day service. Take your repair here, especially for 'older' apple products.

Or, take it to the Apple store, where you'll make an appointment for two weeks from now, where you'll then spend two hours to wait for them to tell you to take it here.

Scout has done an incredible job updating the computers, servers and network in our medical offices. Nate and Ryne skillfully planned and executed a complete modernization of our offices. Our aging windows sever was replaced with a new Synology file server for our files and Amazon web services for our databases. Our buggy windows computers and thin clients were replaced with JAMF remotely-managed Mac minis. Our old and unreliable network and VPN was updated with Cisco Meraki switches and VPN. This was a huge multi-step project. Every step was well planned and beautifully organized and executed by Scout. I could not be happier with the final product—everything works pefectly. Not only are these guys smart they are exceptionally kind people and a pleasure to work with. Despite their technical expertise, they are excellent communicators, good listeners and are never condescending to our staff. I have never before experienced this combination of technical know-how combined with outstanding people skills in IT. I cannot recommend them any higher and look forward to working with Nate, Ryne and the rest of the Scout crew for many years to come. A+

These guys are studs. Smart, honest and genuinely helpful. They knew exactly what I needed even before running the diagnostic. They know apple products. Would definitely recommend.
