My Father is a patient of sea pines as of today. I came in first this morning to do home health education with him. My father has been complaining for a few days now that after his therapy he his left in his room stuck in a wheel chair. Mind you, the right side of his body has no movement. He hit the nurse call button multiple times to have help getting back in to bed. An hour had gone by. Still nobody to help in get back in bed. Meanwhile I hear and see several nurses passing by. None of them even bother to poke their head in the door to see if he needed anything. So needless to say my dad ended up falling out of his wheel chair. This is the only way he got any attention. At first i thought my dad was just being a grumpy old man when telling me they'd leave him sitting for long period of time in a wheel chair but being here first thing this morning to see it all with my own eyes only proves his complaints to be true. This establishment was recommended by Parrish hospital to be the best one around and that is the reason I chose to place my father here. The doctor was great this morning when dealing with her. I failed to catch her name. The only tech who has seemed to genuinely care about her patients was Margaret. She's amazing. My father is not happy here and I'm not so happy with the "care" here.

TERRIBLE place! PT staff is fine but nurses taking care of patients do not care and are not attentive. Food is inedible. My mother was there in June 2021 and it was awful. Not until we talked to main person in charge did things change last 2 days she was there.

I would absolutely not recommend going to this rehabilitation center. These are supposed to be doctors, yet they tried their hardest to kill my partner. He was involved in a sky diving accident and was sent here prematurely against both of our wills. The first night after my partner was admitted, he nearly had a heart attack and no one was there to address his pain. The following morning, they wanted to start physical therapy when he was clearly unable to walk or get out of the bed due to the nature of his accident. The one doctor who finally came in and saw him attempted to give him blood thinners which previous doctors advised against as it would lead to paralysis as he had just had spinal surgery. In the end, he was readmitted back to his original hospital and that one doctor from Sea Pines had the nerve to come and pay him a visit and ask when he was coming back, the same one who neglected to read his charts to find out blood thinners would paralyze him. Please, do yourself a favor and find another rehabilitation center. Your best interest is not in mind at Sea Pines.

Sea Pines helped me recover from a Traumatic Brain Injury and is now helping my brother recover from a stroke. The staff were very friendly, professional, capable, and helpful when I was there and it seems they have improved since I have left; I am confident my brother and everyone else using their rehabilitation services are getting the best care possible.

To the wonderful people who helped my dad. I am so sorry it has taken me so long to write this review. When my dad entered Sea Pines, he couldn't walk, or dress himself. He was just overall weak from his almost 2 month hospital stay due to severe Kidney and Heart Failure. How he is still alive is a miracle. Even during covid, I can't tell you how thankful the family was that one person could visit during one of 2 time slots a day. When my dad went in.one of his biggest fears was being left alone. Though they kept my dad safe, the realized that mental and emotional health is all connected to physical health and made this wonderful provision. While there the worked him out every day but my dad said they were always very cognizant of how he was feeling. He loved the food. By the time he left, with a month, he could walk, get out of bed on his own and dress himself. My parents home has 4 steps to get in and when we took him home he walked up those stairs by himself. We all had tears in our eyes. You should see him now.it is amazing. I credit a lot of people to saving his life. Rockledge Hospital, Holmes Regional and Sea Pines. Thank you just isn't enough.

While their services and nursing care appear to be very high quality, they are not family friendly. Only one visitor at a time, no matter
what. I traveled 1200 miles to see my brother after 14 months and I am sitting in the lobby so my sister-in-law can visit with her husband. Appalling!

Grandmother was in for rehabilitation for a traumatic brain injury. She was under a strict no movement without assistance order due to the chance of her falling. On multiple occasions, she used her call button to ask for help to use the restroom and was flatly ignored. In one case, for over 95 minutes. This led to an accident and her trying to go to the bathroom on her own. When her bed alarm went off, the staff came in upset that she got out of bed. Additionally, at her therapy session, her therapist sat her down and walked around to other staff members instead of working with my Grandmother. After 3 short days, my family elected to pull her from Sea Pines, although she is once again in the hospital. This facility should be investigated by the state and shut down in the interim for the safety and health of the patients they service.

The Staff is great, Professional, Caring, but, I am concerned, my wife is deaf, and they still talk to the back of her head. The Therapist was yelling like you do to a hard of hearing person, "I need you to do. " then getting frustrated because my wife was not doing. When I got there, I told her "My wife is deaf". Then she came to the front of my wife and yelled at her there. So, I took my mask off, and sign to my wife what the Therapist wanted her to do, my wife did that. Five minutes later the Therapist was doing the same thing, I tried talking about it. I don't know how else to explain to her without hurting her feelings. The wearing of Masks hurt the Deaf people who rely on reading lips to communicate, and we are not sure of what to do.
I love the Staff at Sea Pines. This is only my first day there, second day for my wife. We have no complaints at all, it is just different when dealing with the Deaf.
UPDATE: I love this place! The measures they went to to accommodate my wife was above and beyond my greatest expectations! My wife loves the Staff, (ALL of them!) she had to leave by ambulance, unfortunately, we wanted to give them all something to show our thanks and appreciation.

I could not be happier with my varicose vein surgery by The entire staff is kind and knowledgeable and Dr.made me feel comfortable from day 1. The procedure was quick and easy and I am back wearing shorts and dresses. I am so happy I went with them for this procedure. He is very affordable but that in no way means anything less than exceptional service. Since the procedure, I have also had Botox done there and it was great, I highly recommend them for anything!

Fantastic facility and staff, all the way around!
My mom had a lousy experience at Titusville Rehab. Thankfully we got her transferred to Sea Pines and the experience was like night and day! Every single staff person was wonderful to her. They provided excellent one-on-one therapy for her (not like the "group therapy" experience my parents have dealt with in the past at other facilities). When my mom thought she was ready to come home the staff contacted me and clearly communicated what she was doing great at and where she may need some assistance. That information was 100% accurate.
I was able to visit and observer her in physical therapy and occupational therapy to see exactly how she was doing and both therapists (Rick & Kyle) provided excellent information and made sure she could safely get into the car before sending her home.
It was *very* worth the drive from Titusville down to Melbourne!

Just what I needed! I was in a bad motorcycle accident. My left leg from the hip down suffered multiple breaks and fractures. The staff at Sea Pines was able to help me from being bedridden to being able to bathe myself, hop with a Walker, get into my truck, and so much more, confidently - within a week! Jenivive and Ken were my main therapists. They really are rockstars! The nursing staff was very attentive and caring. The wound care specialist Notany was outstanding! Dr. Lebron and his team are excellent. If you're in need of post traumatic therapy, this is best place in Brevard county!

Nursing staff could be the worst in the state! Can’t understand how this place has stayed open. Rehab side is excellent, however, the patient that resides there only spends a short time at rehab and the rest of the time they are treated like bad children. The place should NOT be allowed any brain or head injury victims. People wouldn’t believe the treatment that patients are subjected to if they can’t fend for themselves. If you have good CNA’s depend on them to keep you informed. If you complain they may retaliate against your loved one. Don’t be surprised if you try to move your loved one to another facility and find the move blocked by Sea Pines. Don’t mistake being close to being good. If you do subject a loved one to this place, have family check in at all hours, even though you must call the guards at night to get into the facility it insures that your loved one will be cleaned/changed as you are going in to the facility. You quickly learn that as soon as you arrive they start to clean the patient. Another thing to know.if the patient is unable to communicate they can and will do things that you could never believe. It is hard for anyone to comprehend how horribly someone can be treated in this place. Take pictures, and keep a log since you might need it for an attorney.
