Sea Scape Inn, Daytona Beach FL

This place is a filthy dump! ! ! This seems to be more of a transient hotel. I stayed there 01/23/-01/26/2023 because they advertise a swimming pool and laundry facilities. When I got there I was told because of the hurricane last year They had no swimming pool no beach access no laundry facilities. They put us on the 3rd floor and the elevators were out of order. I told the desk clerk this would have been useful information to know beforehand. She said, "We don't like to advertise that because we will lose customers. " The last straw was one night it dipped down into the 40ﾟ's and there was no heat in the room. I moved 10 blocks down the road to Holiday Inn wonderful hotel.

DO NOT GO HERE! Found bugs in the mattress and they refused to refund me same night. Then proceeded to call police after I did nothing wrong but ask to speak to a manager. Terrible place. All on vacation with my children

Book thru Expedia room was not ready they kept stalling found out they had just painted the walls my wife is allergic to latex. Didn't get all my refund place is in bad condition. Do not go here

The best way to describe that hotel is dirty unsafe, mold. Don't rented you will regret it and will not get your money back.worst Thanksgiving hotel ever

The place looked very run down. Understand it just got hit by two hurricanes but the room quality was poor. Also when when I got up to the room the door wasn't very secure. The room was very damp.couldn't even sleep them on the bed their air conditioning and heating unit didn't even work. The shower was in poor working order. No pressure. Barely had any hot water parking sucked. When I went to go check in they said it would be ready at a certain time and ended up waiting 5 hours before getting in. The only good thing I had to say about it was the location. I would not recommend this to anybody wanting to go on vacation. Also, I wanted to add that I was to fearful of bringing my own luggage up to the room.

When I was there. They have lots of damage by hurricane Ian.hope they can recover soon enough

Booked this in July 9th, 2021 Dirty, cockroachs on bed, and webs all around the bathroom. Look at the attached pictures. I contacted the property for refund and nothing was done. I have recently filed a complaint with the business bureau hoping they can step in on this case.

Horrible place to stay, towels were dirty.
Bad tub disgusting, Ac did not work.
Room smelled like Mold, ceiling paint was falling apart. Appliances had rust, beds where gross and stinky.

Plus was very expensive for just one night.

Do not go here! I don’t know how to post pictures but I’ve got them if you don’t believe me. Ceilings were stained and chunks of ceiling hanging down. Mold/mildew on lamps. Only elec socket that works is in bathroom. Filthy walls, doors. Tub and sink caulk mildewed. No blankets.

I have never left a negative review, but this was the most filthy room I’ve ever stepped in. Framed pictures on the wall full of mold, mold on the ceiling, kitchen covered in grease and grime, missing cabinet doors, toilet full of bugs, air vents overflowing with dust and mold. We didn’t check in until after midnight and the state of this room left us looking for another hotel at 1: 00 in the morning. Plus, this room is nonrefundable and I am unable to get in contact with the hotel. An absolute health risk and am surprised it’s even legal to rent out this room.

I'd give no stars if possible. This is a horrible nastiness place I've ever seen. Didn't even stay here. Didn't get a refund either.

This is the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in there was a gap in the door the sink was broken the rooms were dirty the air conditioner was Dusty, bugs, this place was a disgrace

Well I didn't even want to give any stars. No wash clothes. Went to the office to be told they were in all the rooms. Yeah she just didn't want to be bothered to do her job.
Not a very friendly staff. I can deal with the out dated room. But having to provide my own towels.

The rooms are outdated but the location for the price will keep us coming back. Pet fee is only $20. The pool is next to the beach with the hotels own locked gate entrance.

Best Bargain beachfront motel for the price! Our family decided on a quick trip to Daytona for the weekend and we were not disappointed. Check in was flawless and the customer service was great! Also, another great benefit is you have a complete kitchen! Microwave, stove, fridge, and all the utensils pots, pans, plates and cups. Literally everything you need is in the room. Have a dog? No problem! They even allow pets for an extra 20! Plus you get breakfast! If you were to look elsewhere to find all these amenities, you will find the prices are way more expensive. Yes, the place could use some upgrades but overall if your looking for a no frills, inexpensive quick trip for the family, then I would definitely recommend you book here. The owner and receptionist are super friendly and very helpful. We have stayed here several times and will continue to book here throughout the year.

Roach motel. Extremely Rude staff. Nasty rooms. Elevator smells like pee. Nasty bathrooms. Half of the electric outlets don’t work. The other half are rusty.

Not bad could have been worse all in all great family stay. Honestly you get what you paid for. It was a cheap stay one of the cheapest that I could find on the beach. We could literally walk to the beach and we had a beach view from our room.
