Seafood Bar, Palm Beach FL

Disappointing. The view of the ocean was outstanding. The service was ok. The food was average. The seafood linguini lobster was too chewy to eat and my grouper special was a little bland for my taste. The price does not reflect the quality.

I have visited the breakers before but never eaten there. The seafood bar while on the spendy side, had excellent food. I had the seafood tacos blackened, and my wife had seafood club sandwich, and both were excellent.

I've been meaning to visit this place for decades and finally took the opportunity to Dress up and bring my friends here.it didn't disappoint! Lots of history to the building and they blend it well with the fabulous interior design and fun aquatic bar.

Really disappointing experience here, I travel all over the world in Milan, London, Paris, etc.and have never felt so disrespected at any restaurant.

The front doors of the hotel are all open allowing all of the very cold air conditioning to leak from the building, very bad for the environment to waste energy like that.

Wanted to grab a quick drink in the restaurant to experience the historic hotel and was flatly refused service - as a 28-year-old adult! - because I only had a digital copy of my ID, which had been recently stolen, while waiting for my replacement ID to arrive in the mail. The staff had absolutely no interest in problem solving. So, I walked out. With poor views and overpriced cocktails and beers, I wasn’t unhappy to leave.

Disappointed with the dated interior design of this restaurant, which looks like a garish mix of authentic and late 90s, and shocked that the entire bar is inside without any al fresco seating options.

Unacceptable behavior from the staff and see no reason to ever return to a tasteless establishment with such poor service.

Located inside the Breakers resort West Palm Beach, excellent food, excellent service, next to the beach facing the Atlantic. The bar is actually an aquarium with fish inside. An experience you will love.

This is, hands down, the best I’ve experienced in the state of Florida! No need to ever “do” any other part of the state…. PS… I really do not like Florida, too hot for me! However, I’ll be coming back to this spot…just in the cooler months.

Went here on a suggestion of a business colleague. Sat at the bar with a nice view of the ocean, but that's the highlight. The bar server, after delivering my menu, didnt even follow up for my order. I had to grab another bartender to actually take it. Salad was small and average, the coconut shrimp could have been bang-bang shrimp from any chain, and my main of grouper came with the exact same sauce, same heavy breading, and same slaw on top as the shrimp! To top it off, I asked for a bourbon list to which they said they didnt have one. I then ordered the readily available Angel's Envy.they charged $89 for a pour! The entire bottle is $99 at retail! Add in the $37 service charge and what should have been a $125 dinner became a $250 overpriced exercise in dining mediocrity. I Legitimately felt duped.

This restaurant is located in a luxury hotel, definitely don't dress down. Great service, beautiful view of the ocean. The swordfish sandwich was delicious. The fried seafood platter was on the salty side. Also it was pretty pricey considering the food was served with french fries.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is absolutely gorgeous. The seafood bar has an actual fish tank and the bar. There is also a fish tank table in the back with eels in it. The hotel is an early 1900s landmark. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our cute young server Jillian had some lots of tasty recommendations. We took her advice and had a pecan crusted grouper and a filet. A bit pricey but completely worth every dollar. As appetizers we had crab nachos and a seafood tower with lobster oysters and crab. 5/5 the service, food and cocktails were above par. Definitely will be back.

The seafood bar at the Breakers is a special place. We were just passing by, so we stopped in for cocktails and appetizers, but I will surely be back for a full meal. It goes without saying that the beauty and opulence of the Breakers is breathtaking, and the seafood bar is a comfortable, relaxing place to pop in. The view of the ocean is stunning. The bar itself is very unusual, it is plexiglass and there are fish swimming around and chasing each other under your cocktail. I immediately recognized the clownfish (Nemo). I ordered a refreshing gin and tonic and even though it wasn't on the menu, when I asked the lovely bartender she said the chef could make me a lump crab cocktail. It was incredibly fresh and tasted absolutely fantastic! Can't wait to return.

Outstanding service from beginning to end! Our server Alyssa was superb. The food was perfectly seasoned and prepared. By far the best restaurant I have been to in a very long time. Am planning on returning tomorrow!

For the price, this was abysmal. The drinks were poorly mixed, the tuna tartare tasted only of chilis (a bad sign, often used to cover bad fish), the grouper came with a pile of poorly cooked rice, the $19 mac and cheese was not up to the standards of Annie’s boxed, and the key lime pie was gritty. For a $30 meal from a cheap diner, this would be ok — not some place I’d go back to, but fine. For $400 for two people? Completely unacceptable. Parts of the meal were inedible, and if the service had been better — or, present, really, they might have noticed. Never go here — it’s a ripoff.

This place is absolutely incredible. Manny was our server and he made sure to provide an excellent experience. Super attentive, nice, social and respectful. The ideal service. The food? To die for. Everything is perfectly cooked and fresh is an understatement. The building is absolutely beautiful and the beach view is spectacular. I am from Miami and I hope to have the opportunity to come back.

Deserves five stars for the view and the gracious service of Manny my server. I would only recommend this for those that want to splurge. If you are not offended by Massachusetts oysters (plum beach and Duxbury at the time), at $7 per oyster, banana cream pie at $20, Caesar salad with salmon for over $40 then this is a wonderful alternative to mixing with the hoi polloi. The cocktails were much more reasonably priced.

One of our favorite restaurants in Palm Beach. Seafood Bar is elegant and lined with a salt water aquarium. You can also gaze out the large windows at the ocean waves instead. Had the broiled salmon. Was cooked perfectly as I'd requested. My husband and one of our friends each had stone crab claws that they said were the best they'd ever had (even at Joe's in Miami). Took server's advice and got the second size. Perfect. Seafood is scrupulously fresh and the setting is impressive.

As always the Seafood Bar did not disappoint. It’s our annual holiday pilgrimage down to this neck of the woods that we do not take for granted.
Our group got the grouper, salmon, crab cakes, and multiple sides (mom is obsessed w the Gorgonzola truffle fries!)

She was genuinely interested in our story and chatting with us about our holiday, helping make our check in for the meal as nice as possible. She was as calm, kind and collected as you could be as a hostess having multiple parties all coming around the same time to the hostess stand. She even put extra thought into helping surprise our father for his birthday dinner which made it extra special.

Thank you to Thalia and the entire staff of the restaurant, this is what brings us back year after year. (on top of the excellent food). Service is second to none and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

We will be back. And good luck to Thalia with the rest of her school adventures in accounting and beyond!

This place have the best Ocean View the best Breeze Ocean Breeze Cool Breeze and I had a Bailey's on ice hadn't have in over 30 years.brings back my childhood memories from Jamaica. This Champion guy in red is the nicest guy Mr. D the charmer. Live Love And Seafood Bar Mr. D?

Super Seafood! Had filet mignon sliders as an app.melted like butter in our mouths. My wife had the crab cakes and I had seafood linguine.both were sensational. Desert was the brownie and it was super tasty. Our server was Hunter and he made our evening that much better.

Great service, setting, and view. As noted by others, it is a bit pricey but I think worth it. The food was decent but nothing too exciting. Go for a drink and the view. Very lovely experience overall and fun to watch the fish in the aquarium as you look out at the ocean while sipping a cocktail.

What can you say about any place in The Breakers except top of the line for food, service, & class. The view of the ocean and the waves crashing against the Shore was a nice perk. A little expensive, but well worth it.
