We contacted them in May for a quote on a windshield cover because ours had shrunk. We had contacted them a few times and Brenda was busy or out of town. They had to go out and measure and we chose colors. In June. Did not hear from them again until September when she called and stated that it was in the boat! You can imaging our surprise when we got there and it was already installed with an invoice for $2,500! STILL NO QUOTE!
We went in to pay them, because what other choice did we have, and asked for the one that they took off. Brenda said she didn’t have it and asked me if she was supposed to keep everything she took off of peoples boats! Can you believe that! I told her that it wasn’t hers and she should leave it unless they tell her to take it because it belongs to them. He response was “WHATEVER” with a giggle!

Brenda and her group exceeded expectations on new dodger and Bimini for our 32 ft Islander. Highly recommended@

With an "appointment", I dropped off three boat cushions and the necessary vinyl for reupholstering on March 7,2022. I called twice and stopped by once to find out the status and was just told that they were busy. Ten weeks later (!) I stopped by the business and picked them up after they still were not done. I was told that the repairman had suffered an injury a few weeks early. But no phone calls, etc.from Seams To Be. Terrible customer service!

Dropped all my boat upholstery to this shop in October. Like 12 pieces. Was told 3 weeks for everything. I only got the top done by mid December after 3 or 4 visits to see what was going on. I picked up the rest of the upholstery and took it back home. They quoted me a few hunred dollars more to do what was left than the entire job at the beginning. To me they should have cut me a break for waiting months to complete the job. They may do good for you but proceed with caution and get everything in writing. Good luck.

Been using this shop for 25 years, never again. Promise recent job would take 3 weeks ended up 3 months. No customer service, customer loyalty, communication, lied to, excuses and sub par workmanship and mistakes made with job. Find another shop to do business with.

Read your response to this post and the lies you state I made. Way too funny. No lies at all and can prove it. Like me to post pictures, I think not. As far as not doing work for me in a year, that’s a LIE. You just did a repair job for me a couple of months ago. Want the date and time. A year ago I did give you a job. Six snap straps to be ready in 2 days. Year later still not done and NO return of calls when I made them.
You missed an appointment, I called to find out what was going on. Your assistant and the phone and called out to you stating the appt.you yelled back, tell him on on a job and will be there soon. Another LIE. Going to tell an employee at least cover the phone. Do you want me to continue to explain other screw ups on you site and public media. ‍️

Discussed a new bimini top. After many weeks trying to arrange service and dragging my boat to their small lot, a few questions on size of bimini led owner to ask if i was going to BE A PROBLEM.save yourself thousands and shop for a bimini online. Easy to size and order and one fifth the price!

Stopped in to get a quote on a boat windshield cover replacement. I left accurate dimensions and asked someone to get back to me with a quote. Two weeks now and no reply.how reliable would they be on an actual time frame for completion? Guess I won't know as found someone else who is interested in my business. And No, I was not informed that they do not go to Burnt Store Marina, and I was not told that they are 4 to 5 weeks out from taking any new customers. I just left my info with a woman who was working there and she said she would forward my request to one of the managers/owners.

Set up an appointment up to have a look at my seats that need recovered. I was told 10: 30, and made arrangements. I was there waiting, and waiting. I called after 10 minutes and was told, they had to make a stop first and will be right over. No apology. I continued to wait till 11: 40. NO CALL: NO SHOW! Never even made an attempt reach out to me. What a way to run a business! Of this is how they operate, I am glad I did not trust them with my project. There are many more good shops that care to go to. These people should not be used

We needed canvas work done, but only had a short time frame to work with. Brenda knew exactly what needed to be done, and the right materials to do the job with. Susan did a fantastic/professional job.
Our future canvas/upholstery work will be done only at Seems To Be. We highly recommend this good store with wonderful/good people.

I have been searching for 2 yards of marine grade vinyl but a quick and helpful call to this establishment ended that search. The gentleman that answered stated that I could bring in a sample to see if he had a color that was close enough. He had just what I needed and he was very helpful. Finding vinyl for our chiropractic tables can be very hard. "Seams to be" with this place i can find just what I need! Definitely will be coming back.

We had new foam put in our couch cushions. Seams To Be did a great job in a timely manner. We dropped them off and four days later they were ready to pick up.
