Seas the Day Charters US, Nokomis FL

Had a wonderful time on a romantic Sunset cruise with just me and my wife for her birthday. Captain John is an amazing captain. The boat said happy birthday as we boarded. We cruised a lot of the intercoastal saw a lot of wildlife, architecture and natures beauty, in the Nokomis casey key area. Also went out to the north jetty for sunset. We stopped at a local favorite Pop’s For old fashions. We also saw an amazing bird rookery, and learned a lot from his knowledge of the area and all the wildlife in it.also, he took videos and pictures for us the whole time so we could enjoy our trip and then sent them to us a few days after. Highly recommend booking a trip with Captain John and The Manta.

Captain John is phenomenal! You could tell that he loves what he does and pours everything into without any effort. He gave us so many facts about the area and told some pretty awesome dad jokes too. He's a pretty great photographer too. I will definitely be booking him again when we're back in the area.

My wife and I took a cruise for our anniversary with Captain John. He was so knowledgeable and funny. We just had the best time. Got to see a gorgeous sunset on the water. It was an amazing and very educational day. Can’t wait to book another one next year. Thank you captain for an amazing 3 hour tour.

Capt John is great, provided great insights. He wasn't available, but got us lined up with Capt Chuck and had we had a blast. Definitely my first call next time I'm booking a charter.

We recently celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary on the mantra for a sunset cruise. Captain John was great with our two kids and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. The next day we received over 120 pictures and videos that Captain John took while we were on board his boat. We will definitely use him again.

This company is negligent in boat operation. They cruised yards from shore, over sandbar and too close to divers. After speaking to Captain, he stated he had passed safety. No excuse for his passing close to shore, through sandbar, or so close to water goers!

My recent experience with Seas the Day Charter in Venice Beach, Florida was absolutely amazing. Captain John was our guide for the day and he did an excellent job of taking us on a tour of the beautiful coastline.

This was an amazing trip! Captain John shared facts and information throughout the trip about birds, native and non native plants, dolphin stories, etc. He brought his adorable sidekick, Zoe and she was so fun! The best part was seeing the dolphins up close. I would highly recommend this adventure. I will definitely go next time I am in Florida!

Visited a relative for a week in Nokomis. She booked a 4 hr.tour with Captain John for us. He was so much fun and very informative about palms, etc.and the local history. He took lots of pictures and videos during our time on the boat and sent them to us the next day. Great music during our cruise too. His little dog, Zoey, went along too and made the trip, with her little shark vest and riding on the front of the boat and searching for dolphins. Sunset on the water at the end. Well worth the price paid.

The Captain is amazing. Knows local history and all sorts of fun facts about the plants and fish and birds you see. The entire trip went by way too quickly as I could have stayed out all day.

Captain John provided a wonderful experience with the "Everything" tour. He is very knowledgeable about the history and waterways of the area. His boat is very capable, well maintained, and clean. First mate Zoey was fun to have along for the ride.

Captain John is the best of the best! He graciously took us out on a day that wasn’t the easiest for him. It was 56 degrees, the wind was blowing, and the seas were 2-4 ft. On top of that he found a place where we could exit the boat and swim to shore to find treasures and got us back on the boat safely! He’s an A#1 Captain, extremely kind, hilarious, and all around great time! The memories you take with you will be incomparable! Book your trip today!

What a great time, I mean…fantastic time had by all! We did a 4 hour trip with Captain John and Zoey (I should have brought my dog too!:) where we got to hear about the area, see tons of birds, a quick stop to find sharks teeth and shells, may or may not have seen a dolphin, and wrapped it up with a beautiful sunset. He promised a fantastic day, and it was! Captain John is knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and made everyone feel welcomed and a priority. Highly recommend to all! And a huge thank you for the pics and videos he sent us afterwards.

Easily the BEST thing to do if you visit Sarasota. It would be worth it at twice the price. Captain John made our whole vacation - our kids (9 and 5) still rave about it. When asked what they liked better - Disney World or boating with Captain John - they quickly agreed on the latter. I don't know if you can get a better review than that. ;)

Captain John is full of knowledge for the areas we saw in our 4 hour trip with him. He is so young at heart and his playlist for our tour almost had me thinking it was coming from my own phone! We saw dolphins, made a stop at a beach to look for shark teeth, and we stopped at the best tiki bar on the water for a delicious addition to our boat ride We are so grateful he was able to pivot as the day we had previously booked for was not going to be the best, so we were able to change it to the next day!
