Sedgefield Apartments, Winter Park FL

I've lived here for 14 years and this is my home. It's very clean, peaceful and safe. My neighbors are friendly and we say hello and sometimes stop and talk. Lois the manager is fantastic and the maintenance guys are just great, very quick to respond.

I lived here for three years and enjoyed it. The rent is amazingly priced. It is quiet and clean. The maintenance guys are amazing. The AC is really bad and they won't replace it. Lois said that the apartments are not meant to get cooler than 78 in the summer. I've never heard of that. That was the only problem really. She doesn't have the best attitude towards everyone and I saw that mean side a few times. However, I enjoyed living there.

Hands down amazing staff! I can't say enough about this community and how close knit it is. I would definitely recommend them.

I have lived here for 16 years straight they are not new which is why I believe they are roomy.
My unit has a washer and dryer hookup. There are units that have washer dryer hook up and then there's units that don't.
Of course through the years I have needed repairs and my a/c unit was replaced. I have never had something that needed repair that did not get fixed.
The apartment manager Lois has always been extremely friendly and the maintenance team are super friendly and always greet you with a smile.
. Unbelievably in the 16 years I've been here my rent has only increased $115! You don't find that anywhere.
A previous post. From an unhappy person said the apartment manager likes to terminate leases. That makes no sense because there's hardly ever an opening because people don't leave if the manager was terminating leases there would be openings all the time.
Even though we live right off of 436 I've always felt very safe here. Lois makes sure the complex remains a peaceful place to live. She has many times gone out of her way to help me with things and I'm not the only one she helps many people with many things I see her around the complex all the time. I've actually never had a nicer apartment manager.
This truly is the best place to live. If you're fortunate enough to find an opening for an apartment here take it you will never want to leave. ️️️

I rent at Sedgefield Apartments for 3 reasons. Lois cares about us having a good living experience, and she keeps the place safe and clean and quiet for us. If people find her scary or rude, they are just bad tenants. Davy and Ramon are fantastic, and they ALWAYS take care of maintenance issues immediately. And, in this economy, the rent is amazing. The haters on here probably left on bad terms and left their apartments a mess and ran out like thieves in the night. Thank you Lois, Davy, and Ramon for making this a great place to live!

I lived at Sedgefield for many years on & off. Many different units as well. Never had a problem until starting about 1-1/2 years ago. The electric bills started getting outrages. This past summer 2 of my bills were over$ 350. Lois unfortunately will not do anything that involves her having to come out of her air conditioned office. Don't bother her to fix things because she will tell you it's your fault & lecture you about it. She likes to terminate leases without warning & she has Alot of homemade rules & regs. If you are confined to a wheelchair & can't bother anyone this is a great place. But not good for families as Lois has told me at one point she does not like kids.

Good morning good morning the parking is tight you have no washer and dryer in your unit you have to go to a laundromat and it's not right for me it's kind of old-fashioned and run down my friend lives there he likes it mister Doug but I don't like it have a great day have a great day parking is too tight and it looks old mr. Lived here for two years. Expect the electricity to be $200 or more. The apartments are not insulated well and the Land Lord refuses to upgrade the air condition units. Mine broke down at 10 times in summer and lost my food in fridge all the time. My apartment was not newly renovated, but even the one's that were had this problem. This not problem only my unit had but more than half the units. Also if the landlord doesn't like you she will go out of her way to make your time here horrible. I stood on her good side so I didn't have this problem. That said I saw how she treated other residents and honestly she scares me bit. Not the worst landlord I had, but try make your self as appeasing as possible and be nice to her. Good things about the apartments is they are pretty roomy and the area is close to a lot of things. Also the people that live here are quiet and nice.

Ms. Lois is AMAZINGGGGGG. Warm, welcoming, helpful. She exudes EXCELLENCE in customer care.
