Seminole Theatre, Homestead FL

We really enjoyed it and can't wait to get back and watch a show. We did a paint and sip on this trip but the place looks great. It's not a Broadway theater but it is great for the history of the place.

Food is just very sub par. Hotdogs never ready for intermission, we got 4 chips and 3 of them were stale, popcorn was good. They need a better food bar, it would bring more people in I'd there was some great food and drink choices.

The play He Gave Me Flowers by Juanita Parnell was well-written and executed. The character Bernard, played by Kenneth Day, Jr, was incredible. It seemed so real. The audience couldn't help but to be mad at him during play. He really brought the character to life. The other actors were good too. The singing was phenomenal! Kenneth, Jasmine, Delois and Juanita sung everybody under the benches. I cannot wait for the next play. I really enjoyed myself.

Daniel and Chris (works at the theatre) were very helpful with everything that I needed. The hospitality was superb!

Great venue for a play. Good acoustics and comfortable seats. Friendly people. Don't miss the gem.

What a wonderful place to come and enjoy THEATER and all its beauty. First time here at Seminole theater in homestead and Mamma Mia went beyond expectations. Went to see fist time Mamma Mia in New York many moons ago and today this performance made me cry and laugh. Love it such a nice performance actors that gave it all. Talented young generation that took pride. Beautiful and amazing.

The play was great, with very good voices and acting, with some amateur exceptions. Really good effort!
However, more than a couple of people were over-excited, especially a lady that was screaming throughout the entire second half… extremely annoying.

Had vouchers for tickets for performance.sold out for the times and dates we could actually go Sunday and Friday. Was able to give tickets to people who were able to go Saturday at 2pm. They enjoyed the performance but we actually wanted to go.

This is my first time here at the seminole theatre. I had a great experience. Leg room was a little tight. Price for drinks a little pricey. The employees are nice and take care of you fast. Overall I will go again.

PLEASE SUPPORT THIS VENUE AND RELISH IT. IT'S AN HISTORIC LANDMARK THAT DESERVES OUR ATTENTION AND SUPPORT. THE ACTS ARE SUPERB, UNDERRATED, AND WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN THE FAIR ADMISSION. THE STAFF IS AS WORTHY OF THE VERY FINE ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTED HERE.
THIS VENUE IS A LOCAL GEM IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. WE SHOULD ALL FEEL PRIVILEGED TO HAVE THIS THEATRE THAT HAS SURVIVED AND HAD BEEN RESURRECTED FROM HURRICANE DESTRUCTION. THIS THEATRE IS THE CENTERPIECE OF HOMESTEAD, DARE I SAY, FLORIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT. ENJOYABLE, CIVILIZED, ENJOYABLE EVENINGS OUT.

We saw the Jersey Tenors last night. They put on a vibrate concert. Had the audience join in at times. After the concert they took pictures with fans.

Nice little community theater. Too bad it couldn't of been made to handle a larger capacity of people. Clean & crisp atmosphere. Nice venue for small affairs.

Attended our granddaughters dress dance rehearsal. The theater as well as the bathrooms were clean.

I visited this theater for a talent competition this week. I'm a little over 4 hours away but the atmosphere made me feel like I was back in my hometown theater. Parking was a challenge, as well as getting around by foot during high traffic hours due to the downtown location; however, with a little pre-planning on my part my second day visiting, things went much smoother. I 100% wish I lived closer because I took a peek at their program/show offerings and they look to be a blast.

Another hidden gem! The staff was awesome and hosting a competition for Mr. Patrick Thompson was fun #therednecktalentshow

What a great performance! The Mersey Beatles liverpool lads rocked! The fam had an awesome night. If yall missed them tonight do not despair they will be back in February.
Also the place is great too and the staff is excellent!

Absolutely marvelous little theater; the Mersey Beatles put on an incredible performance, and all the staff was very pleasant. Impressive acoustics. I will be back for their February performance as well as for the Carpenter's Tribute band in March.

Saw The Hunchback of Notre Dame last night! What an amazing show, and an amazing venue! I can't say enough great things about this place, let alone how fun the performance was by the the entire cast, crew, orchestra, etc! The theater itself is an absolute gem, and the acoustics were fantastic for us as the audience! Can't wait to see a concert there! If you want a fantastic venue!
