Seoul Garden Restaurant reviews
33We, who like Korean food, ordered four kinds of main dishes, but we were very disappointed with the taste and hygiene.
So delicious and flavorful! The kimchi Pancake and the Stone Pot pork were my favorite. The friendly and fast service was an added bonus. It was our first time at Seoul but not our last.
As a Korean I definitely not recommend this place.
I ordered Kimchi Jeongol (Stew with Kimchi) and Tangsuyuk (Sour sauce with chicken)
Pork in Kimchi stew was smelly and had bad taste of pork might be just used frozen pork. And for the Tangsuyuk, the menu states that it is made of chicken but I couldn't tell the meat used is true chicken it tasted weird. Lastly the portion was small for the price.
For these reasons I rated one star, however the owner threatened me in korean
"오마이갓 양심은 가출했나 별테러하고 리뷰라도 남기던가 부모님 안부를 여쭙기 전에 별점 업데이트 해놔라"
Which in english states "OMG have you lost your conscience? Before I insult your parents update the rating. "
I was so shocked how the owner reacted to my review so that I leave my explanation of the rating.
I hope no other korean nor american try this place and waste their money and time. There are so many other Korean restaurants which are way better than this in Orlando.
This was some of the best food I've ever tried! I loved the dumplings omg! I couldn't stop telling everyone about how great their food is! I can't wait to go back!
This is a really good place to go get some Korean food, along with friendly service. Everything always tastes fresh and delicious. I usually get the pork bulgogi, and it comes with a variety of really tasty side dishes. Great for lunch, do yourself a favor and check this place out!
The place is superb and roomy, the menu was yummy and the prices were very affordable.fast, efficient service and very welcoming waiters. Recommended.
I really enjoyed this place. It’s hard to find good Korean food, and this place has it.
The kimchi tasted fresh as well as the other pickled food they had.
I went for lunch and had the bulgogi box. I thought it was seasoned well and not greasy tasting.
Plus I had a green tea too!
The service was quick and kind.
If you want Korean food, you should check this place out.
I visit this spot a lot since I work close by. I must say the service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept all the time. Pricing is convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
Pricey compared to other Korean places. Bowl of rice was really small compared to other Korean counterparts. Service was bad.
Absolutely amazing food. Very authentic and the staff was very friendly. And the prices are fantastic for what you get!
This place was awesome. I've had Korean food only once before but this is a most go to place for your next dining experience. I had the bulgogi plate and was delicious!
LOVE THIS PLACE! My best friend and I go once a month to satisfy our bibimbap and mochi ice cream cravings cuz it’s a little far for us.
3.75 stars: fried rice combo pretty tasty (fried chicken) was horrible tasted processed n old! Spring roll good
Mashi soyo - very delicious! Try the amazing Bibim bap beef bulgogi, a rice dish served in a sizzling stone bowl, and the chicken bulgogi that comes with a variety of small side dishes. Nice family ambience, great service, and not too pricey!
Food was excellent - those reviewers who say not enough food for the money or too expensive are either serious gluttons, penny pinching tightwads or most likely both.service was quick and friendly.the atmosphere - while clean and neat - makes this a 4 star review rather than a 5.
This is not the best Korean food. I should know my husband is Korean. The soon do bu, tofu soup had potato in it as a filler. This is a classic that contains only tofu, maybe pork, seafood and some veggies maybe. My husband said this had too much potato as a filler. Will never go back. Too bad Korea House was closed as we passed thru this way!
Never go there. The food just Ok. But the service is terrible. That old lady she make you scare! Seem like you don't pay them.
Incredible dining experience! The food was fantastic and perfectly prepared. Spice levels adjusted to our preferences. The hot pot stone bowls are piping hot, allowing your meal to continue cooking while on the table. I loved the chicken and would return here in a heartbeat!
My favorite Korean restaurant. Family owned and operated. Kimchi is freshly made so it is sweet instead of salty. Ginger punch is refreshing. So many dishes to choose from and every time I've come the food is always delicious. It's Korean home cooking at its best. If you live in the Maitland or Winter Park area, it is close and convienent. But if you live further the drive is worth it. Server's are bilingual so language is not an issue here.
Food is pretty good and prices were fine, but the service was crazy slow. Went at lunch time with a party of 8, there were maybe 4-5 other people in the restaurant before us, it took over a full hour before we were served our food.
Maybe if you can call ahead and get your order in, it would be worth it, but I definitely wouldn't go back as a walk-in.
