Serafina Italian Restaurant reviews
14Food and service is very good! Price is okay! Nice view of the water but the infrastructure could be better!
Really sad.food deplorable.seated in some sort of anti room.service was very good. Food was pathetic, parking expensive.not a good night. So many other great Italian restaurants nearby.
Excellent dinner with the family. Good sized portions (just the right amount). Broad selection in menu from fish, pasta, some meat dishes and great carapaccio. The gnoqui was excellent
I was happily surprised at how good the food was. Also, being seated right next to the water (a canal) was more fun than I thought it would be. They have a solid metal roof with an overhang, so we were 100% dry even though it was raining. The osso buco was amazing, and my husband enjoyed the sacchetoni pasta stuffed with pesto, pear, and ricotta. The eggplant appetizer was also good. Our waitress, Nona, made us feel like we were family members. For sure, we will dine there again, the next time we're in Fort Lauderdale.
We live in ft.lauderdale and just went for lunch today, we decided that we wanted 2 sandwiches.then the waitress told us they were out of bread.so we decided to get them without the bread and asked for pasta instead, and she told us there is an upchargw for pasta.you would think if they were out of bread for sandwiches they could at least give you the pasta for free. We left and probably will never return.
Amazing restaurant. From the outside you would not expect how lovely and intimate it is inside or should I say outside lol. Such a beautiful setting. The food was outstanding. Definitely coming back.
We stopped by for lunch today. I visited the rest room prior to ordering to wash my hands. The lack of cleanliness outside in the kitchen border area not acceptable. The waitress was filling my friends water glass dumping a large amount on the tablecloth. She walked away we thought to get something to dry it up. No, was just going to leave it. Lunch menu was very disappointing with not a large selection. We got up and left but I told my friend that the health inspector would of had a field day visiting this place today.
Heard a lot of good things Restaurant. So we decided See what all the hype was about.they sat us in a table that was wobbly and about the fall down. The waitress that we had disappeared. To the point that we gotta are appetizers. Didn't get the proper plating still had our menus I had to eat my Appetizers with my menu on the lap. They cleared the table the Waitress show it up. Put the appetizer plates down order another appetizer we had to tell her that we ate our appetizer Already. I ordered the ossa bucco it over salt To the point where my taste buds were shot for the rest of the night. It was the worst service I've ever been in. The service was terrible the table were to small was terrible the food was horrific. The waitress offered us dessert on the house. I ordered my favorite which is a Terramosu Which she said is made in house. I didn't even finish it was Soggy On one side. And caked with over Cocoa powder. That's saying a lot for me not to finish a it pretty bad. Needless to say it was a bad experience that I'll never ever do again.
Looking for a nice resturant for New Years Eve and found one. Everything was terrific and Pande timed all courses to be served at just the right pace. It was an 1/2 hour walk from our hotel, The Atlantic, but well worth it. Their meatball appetizer was great. No complaints from anyone in our party.
Epitome of Fort Lauderdale Fabulous for a night out on the town. For a real tucked away gem with views of canals and food that tastes home-made from the old country. The place has several seating areas that make each visit a little different. Mangi the portions are awesome service so cool and friendly - Loved it - perfect for Anniversaries or Birthdays
Bread is delicious. Staff friendly. Tables on the water at the back of the building. Feels like a secret spot for locals. Food was top top. Servers are friendly. My mom said her linguine x plate tasted like what she had in Italy. Forgot the name of her plate. I think it was with clams. They have bottomless Bellini and Mimosas. Definitely would return for another occasion.
Awesome family owned Italian restaurant on the intercostal. The food and service are both excellent. We will be back.
I read many reviews and all were excellent so we though we would give it a try. The setting is excellent we had a table outside on the dock over looking the water. I ordered the old fashion on the drink menu was very good. For dinner wife ordered ORECCHIETTE a pasta dinner with sausage and broccoli rabe said it had garlic didn't have any and the sausage had fennel in it waitress said it didn't. Would have sent it back but she didn't want to watch me eat and I didn't want to see here just sitting there.
So she picked threw it, I had the MILANESE PARMESAN the veal was excellent very tender needed salt now the pasta that came with it had NO flavor the tomato sauce was like water and just no flavor. I don't believe We will won’t be back but the server was great.
Came here for my birthday dinner with a party of 4 comprised of vegans and non-vegans. We ALL had a great time and more than enjoyed our meals. My partner and I both that the porcini mushroom pasta with gluten-free noodles, which we later found out has been taken off the menu (insert crying sound effect). Great wine selection, beautiful views (!), and authentic, knowledgeable service. All around a true gem! Not to be mistaken with the Serafina’s in NYC. This one is 1000 times better. It’s usually busy here so definitely make a reservation. Sunsets are beautiful so if you can find a table outside around that time, you’ll be glad you did. Note to restaurant: BRING BACK THE PORCINI PASTA, PER FAVORE!
