I found Lisa and the Ideal Protein protocol in late 2013, through friends who were also successful with the protocol! I lost 40 pounds and gained my confidence back, as well as the knowledge on how to maintain my weight and be healthy. I learned that my body loves it and thrives on this approach! I discovered them after a friend used them and spoke highly of them. I contacted them mid January 2018 and I attended a free introduction class. I was between them and Dr. Urshuan's clinic. We chose Shake It Off as it was closer to my home and because of what I learned at the free introduction meeting seemed doable and eye opening. I particularly liked the Pancreas Rehab and maintenance science of Ideal Protein's approach to fixing your pancreas's performance. I leaned how important the Pancreas is and how so many of our health problems were related to it, like Diabetes etc. I was at 272 lbs when I started with them at 6' tall. I was very Obese. I had High Blood Pressure and was taking 2 prescriptions a day for that. I had High Cholesterol and was taking a Statin drug for that too. I was a borderline diabetic and tired all the time with a low lobedo. What I particularly liked about Ideal Protein's approach was that it required No Exercise and in fact, exercise was Not allowed! The food that they made filled my need with sweets for late night and allowed me to eat as much as I wanted! Within 4 months I lost 63lbs. After 6 months, my total weight loss was 91lbs! I look like a new man. I have energy and a sex drive all over again! I was told by my Dr.that I no longer have High Blood Pressure, No more High Cholesterol and No more Borderline Diabetes! No More Medicine. Their plan is very affordable in considering that the food I was purchasing that tasted Great, was replacing junk food that I no longer had to buy.
