Sharky's On the Pier, Venice FL

While Ive been coming here for a long time (10 plus years) recently the seafood mostly the shrimp have not been cleaned and deviened as good as they charge for their meals.

Good food, came out pretty fast. Nobody seemed happy to be there working. Smiles go a long way!

I've grown up going to sharky's. Going since I was about 5. The food always is top notch and the servers generally are beyond hospitable. I never have a bad experience here. Definitely somewhere, now that I moved down, that I will continually go for date night.

Dinner with my parents out on the front porch deck area facing the ocean watching the sunset. I had the Chilean sea bass That was to die for!

This is the quintessential beach experience with everything you could want… Beautiful views, a pier, gorgeous beach and delicious food and frozen drinks! We went here twice on our trip and everyone loved it!

Cool location but very over priced. We had a table of 4 and nobody was happy with their dinner but we spent about $200.honestly I'll never be back

Nice beach. Wonderful fishing and fishing watching. And most of all amazing food and drinks! But the cover changes sometimes are ridiculous but sneaky sneak, lol

Great food and atmosphere here right on the beach. As long as there is no red tide it is awesome! Inside and outside seating available. Had shark tacos and they were delicious!

Good food but couldn't get in on New Years Eve. I understand it was busy but the hostess had no idea what was going on. Additionally, when I called ahead, i was told I just had to wait to get a seat. When I got there, a totally different story.

Nice atmosphere and setting, however the coconut shrimp wasn’t any good at all in our opinion. They looked fantastic but not so much, over cooked and not much flavor. The coconut shrimp at MYAKKA oyster bar blew it away. 10 times better. The grouper wrap was a 4.5 out of 10 at sharkys.

We had been waiting an hour already for our table so, we decided to order a drink from the outside bar. The bald bartender was rude and condescending to me, my fiance and my 70 year old aunt. In addition, it cost us $24.50 for 2 drinks and a beer. Unbelievable!

I love Sparky's! It's a great place to go. Wonderful views. The food is great one of the best places I've eaten!

How is this place not rated a 5!? !? This place rocked in all ways! Best blackened grouper and the Sweet Potato Fries.oh my! Thanks Andrea for making this the perfect experience!

Great view of the ocean. Fresh fish, tender chicken, fairly priced food. I enjoyed it a lot.there was a little bit of a wait, but it was the day after Christmas and there was a lot of tourists. There are indoor seats and outdoor. They have u wait by the bar and pier and give you a buzzer. The buzzer will buzz and there is a pirate statue that you go to when it buzzes and they may call you by your name and table number if you dont go right away. It can be a little confusing at where to go at first. At the bar you can order drinks while you wait. One alcoholic drink per person (because of ID purposes) and after 6pm there is a sign that reads "proper attire required. " Id recommend coming here, its highly enjoyable with the ocean, theres great service, and the environment is welcoming and relaxing. Enjoy!

Food was very disappointing. The food did not appear fresh nor inspired. My expensive crab/lobster whatever was small, not satisfying in flavor, and looked like it was the last from the batch that was sitting around before I showed up and ordered it. The veggie compote was overcooked, mushy. There's a strong greasy smell everywhere inside. Service was good but I wouldn't go back.

All went well, except waiter ran the credit card wrong on another parties check.but was resolved eventually

Have had Grouper wrap before but this time it was overcooked and dry; not what I was used to here. Might try again but not soon.

Was a great place to eat and jsng out with family while on Vacation. One of my wife's favorite places and now I know why.

Great food and a remarkable location, Venice Beach pier, Venice Beach. Best beach in the world for finding shark teeth.

Excellent view, great food and cold drinks after a day of fossilized shark tooth hunting. My wife and I love this place!
