Ming was amazing. She was patient and willing to help me decide on a hair cut length and new style. Amazing job. I love my haircut.

I didn't like the work they did on my hair. I specifically asked for a style and I got a completely different one. Then I came back. I complained. They made another appointment for me and in the end they couldn't do my hair because they wanted to reschedule me once again, so at least they gave me my money back which is very responsible of them. In general, the staff is very polite and gentle the manager Laura was extremely polite and conscientious when I explained the situation to her and also the second stylist Amy who would to fix my hair was very professional and polite but I would not return to this salon because although there are several professionals there are also others who are not as much such as the one who made my hair and left it looking completely different of what l wanted.

I’ve been coming to Shear Art Salon for over three years and have never had a bad experience! The staff are so friendly and Katie does an amazing job on my cut and color every time. So glad I found this salon after moving to South Tampa!

I just moved into town and booked an appointment after seeing the reviews. I was booked with Katie. She was the sweetest person I've ever met. She did exactly what I wanted and didn't try to make me do something I didn't want to do like other stylists I have been to. I give Katie and the salon 5 stars. I will be back!

I just moved from Denver and had to find a new stylist which is never fun. Thankfully I booked with Jason and he made my eat damaged hair look beautiful with a much needed cut. He is so friendly and fun to chat with and I will definitely be a regular!

Taryn is such an amazing stylist and person overall. She makes you feel comfortable and does amazing hair. The salon is well kept, the staff is respectful, and the ambiance is good. 10/10 would recommend Taryn and Shear Art

Becka is literally the best! They are so inviting, all of the staff is wonderful and it’s such a clean and lovely facility.
I’ve had some haircut/color NIGHTMARES and Becka really shaped my hair perfectly.
She takes the time to talk to you and do a consultation (every time!) and she is truly interested in what you have to say.
I literally recommend this place to everyone!

I have combination wavy/curly hair and Taryn is the first stylist in almost 10 years (from many different cities & countries) who has been able to cut it in a way that actually felt like my kind of style. I won’t be going anywhere else!

Becka has been doing my hair for the last 6 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is personable, professional, and its always nice to also get a therapy session each time I go - she truly cares about you as a person:)

The space is small and claustrophobic and the stylists were unprofessional. When I get my hair done I want to relax, not hear about petty gossip. I went to Becca and she did an okay job, talked about herself a lot. In hindsight maybe that was a deflection because she wasn’t as great as she talked herself up to be.

Just moved back to Tampa and checked this place out on a reccomendation. Fantastic group of artists and one of the most relaxing and comfortable salon experiences I've had. Can't reccomend enough if you're looking for vibrant or natural color. Alannis is fantastic in all categories!

Paloma is always great. I get my color and cut with her and every time I leave feeling incredible. She listens to what I say and makes me feel understood. 100% recommended.

I went as a walk in and got Paloma as my stylist, she did such an amazing job with my hair that she has had me continuously coming back to get my hair styled from her. She's very friendly and professional and I can tell she loves her work and wants you to love your hair leaving.

I had visited shear arts for the first time and I had the pleasure of having Taryn as my hairstylist! She is the sweetest person I have ever encounter! She took really good care of my curls, I would never let anyone else touch my hair! I was obsessed with my haircut!

I got my hair colored and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Taryn was my stylist and she did an amazing job and is so sweet. I love her so much and will never go to anyone but her for my hair. ️️
