This animal hospital is a disgrace to put it lightly. The staff other than the doctor and the office manager are so rude. They make everyone so difficult. They have a major attitude and could care less about the customers. No willingness to help and everything is a big nuisance.
I took my 5 month old puppy to them and they swore to God that my puppy needed a surgery. According to them the back leg was injury to the point that only thing that would make it possible to properly heal would be the surgery with a hefty fee of $4000. Money that obviously I don’t have. Then days and days later have the nerve to ask where is the dog I would like to help it. I’m like wow if that would’ve of been informed to me I might of not donated it. That’s what I call just down right cruel. Go see this doctor at your own risk.

I have taken my dog to this vet for a couple of years. I have been put off by the front desk employees a few times. Not the nicest. Today I had an appointment. I have moved and missed the exit on the way and I was 13 min late. I had told them via phone call about my situation. Upon leaving they charged my a $15 fee for being late. There was not even anyone else in the office. I questioned the fee and told the girl that was crazy. She was not nice and asked me if I would like to flag my account and make it inactive. I wasn't rude about it I was just surprised. Very disappointing!

Had to weigh my dog myself and yell to the front desk her weight.
The birds as soon as you walk in always make my dog excited.

We no longer trust this vet.
We’ve trusted Shenandoah Animal Hospital with our pets for over a decade but will not return. Reasons include
-Medical records containing falsified statements.
-Prescription medications written for quadruple the dosage.
-Unprofessional treatment by office staff.
Despite these the errors, there was no apology or remorse from staff or doctor.

The state veterinary board has been contacted.

Beware to those bringing their pets here.

Person in the front is the worst, who you have representing you speaks volumes about you, Amber does you no justice, won't be back because of her, any decent reviews are her friends.

Very fair with their pricing and they care about their work. I'll go here as long as that's the case.

The staff is very pleasant in the vet is wonderful I have a dog that is a little cuckoo but they tolerate it and they're good with them

I've been coming here with my 2 dogs for 12 years and never had a bad experience until now. The clinic manager is extremely rude and should not be handling the phone or dealing with customers. I believe her name is amber but I'm not sure. I did ask and was told she is the office manager. Not only is she super rude but also very mean and the way she speaks to customers is not appropriate. I love the dr and he is the only reason why I haven't considered going somewhere else but if I have to deal with this lady again I won't go back there and will look for a different vet. The staff is very nice exept for her.she lacks compassion, manners and for some reason feels she can get away with treating customer the way she does. Very sad.

An outstanding place to entrust your little ones. They are very caring, and have an amazing staff.

I made an appointment for my Persian cat who is 3 years old and wanted a wellness check and fecal exam. They made me wait outside with him in the hot weather, second told me he has to go inside by himself, are you kidding me! My cat is like my kid you won't let go to a doctor without you being there. The response was because of COVID, everywhere you can go wearing a mask. If I can't go in neither my cat!

Shenandoah Animal Hospital saved my 14 year old yorkies life. Thankful for the veterinarians and staff at this facility. Highly recommend.

If I could give a 0 review to this business I would do not take your dog there Ambert is very rude I don’t know what’s the situation with the dr and her I asked several times to speak with the dr I never received a call back regarding my dog situation I called several times and I have recordings of her telling you are harassing me what kinda of business this people do I don’t know? I feel terrible they overcharge me and i still don’t know what’s going on with my dog
She hung up the phone saying I don’t have nothing to talk to you btw she’s the office manager
Please don’t take your dog there because the lack of communication is very poor she’s don’t hAve manners at all to be working with the public

Highly recommend. They go above and beyond for their clients & patients. My blind senior dog felt right at home. Thank you to both the Doctors and staff (especially AMBER) for all you do! Anyone who gives them less than 5 stars clearly isn’t a real client or they are probably the issue.

Usually I will use reviews to make positive comments, unfortunately this isn’t one of those times. I brought my dog in to check out why she was biting her nails and they wanted to run tests for her which we said fine and put on our care credit, they said the results would take 2 weeks we called and called and they ended up blocking my wife’s number she had to call from another phone and then they still didn’t give us the results after we filed a dispute with care credit within one hour they emailed us the results and I feel like that is very unprofessional and unfortunately even if they are good with animals I couldn’t recommended friends or family to bring their furry friends here.

I have been going there for over a year, staff are professionals, polite and really compassionate and comprehensive especially Amber I Highly recommend! Thank you Amber you are the best!
