I was seen by Dr. Sherry Levine in the office to perform a RhinAer procedure. I arrived expecting everything to go smoothly. Before beginning she gave a brief description of what she would be doing. Once she started the procedure, I assumed everything was going fine, until I started to have heavy bleeding and began to feel pain. She constantly applied anesthesia in my nose, however, I still felt pain. As she attempted to complete the procedure, she appeared nervous which made me extremely uncomfortable and concerned. She worked in one nostril much longer than it should have taken and blood continued to flow uncontrollably, and I was in extensive pain. I asked that we finish the procedure at another time because this was not going well. She recommended that she complete the procedure as an outpatient with general anesthesia. This procedure, if done correctly, should only require local anesthesia and should be completed in the office. At the end of my visit, I was bleeding profusely and in a lot of pain, Dr. Levine never at one time gave me instructions to follow to help with the bleeding or pain, nor did she advise me of what I should expect following the procedure. She seemed anxious and frazzled at the end of the visit and made no attempt to offer gauze or anything to help control the bleeding. She was at a loss for words, and she honestly did not seem knowledgeable about this particular procedure. I left the office with tissue from the bathroom that I had to get myself to help control the bleeding. The excruciating pain and bleeding made it almost impossible for me to drive home. To complete the procedure, I decided to see another doctor. Upon seeing the new doctor, UNLIKE DR. LEVINE, I was immediately and thoroughly educated on how the procedure will be performed. I was given clear pre procedure and post procedure instructions from the new doctor, and I was even informed that someone should bring me to my appointment because I should not drive after the procedure. DR. LEVINE FAILED ME ON ALL LEVELS, SHE FAILED AT PROVIDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND SUCCESSFUL PROCEDURE.

Dr. Levine and her staff are talented professionals who treat patients with courteous regard. I love the attention to detail and will refer my friends to their office.

Dr. Levine seemed caring and genuinely concerned about my well-being. She listened attentively (I could tell, even though she was wearing a mask) and I’m satisfied with her plan to get me back to full health.

Unfortunately, I am not pleased with the billing department, which may cause me to go choose another doctor. I’m undecided at this time.

Regarding my unsatisfactory experience with the billing department. First, after I paid my copay it was emailed - without informing me and I only found out when I was about to leave the office; if I had not asked them for my receipt I would not have known. Secondly, they could not provide me with an itemized list of services so that I could submit it to my FSA (which is required), in order to clear the payment-but only the corporate office provides this service. So, I called the corporate office the next day and was told that they would not receive my records for 7 days. I was disappointed to then learn that after the 7 days, they will only be able to mail my information. No option for email: - (. (I was surprised to hear the limited option since they sent the new patient paperwork 2-3 times before my appointment via email- strongly recommending that I complete it online prior to my appointment (to save time of course).

Dr. Levine is one of the best ENT Doctors I have ever been to, an I been to many! She is kind, patient, knowledgeable, very informative, and spends quality time each time she sees you, above all she listens an remembers you and your issues. The office is easy to schedule, and you get in rather quickly. I have referred her to many of my friends an family members, they have gone to her based on my referral and feel the same as I shared! Give her a chance, she won't disappoint!

Dr Levine is the first Doctor that has taken my chronic sinus problems seriously. She has done more for me in two visits than anyone else in the past 40 plus years. I’m hopeful that I will finally get relief!

Great staff and doctor! Got a pleasant call from staff to verify my info. Filled out forms online that were super easy from my phone. Was greeted when I walked in and was asked to take a seat. The office was nicely decorated and clean. Was called back fairly quickly and saw Dr Levine. She has great bedside manners and listened to all my concerns. Would highly recommend this office to others!

Terrible service from a doctor's office. Went to Weston office 4 weeks ago, did my CT, later leave 3 messages and went to the office for follow up and still waiting for someone to return my call for a check up. They don't care about patients at all. I did not went to see her to pay my utilities bills I went bc I am not feeling well and still don't. This is why the Health in USA needs to have a reform and not be a business for only profit for them. Sad!

Best ENT Dr in Florida hands down. Have been going to see Dr Levine for years.
She’s what every Dr should be, quite honestly.
Been to handful of ENTs and she is by far the best.

Staff is very nice and the office is very clean, quiet and easy to get to. They have things down very well in regards to COVID as well.

All around experience has always been a 10.

Totally recommend her and her practice.

These 4 stars are reserved exclusively for the doctor. She is kind, caring, attentive while also being direct and to the point. Best ENT I've seen in nearly all of south florida.

The absent 5th star goes to the patient followup or insurance or billing or patient paperwork; whatever that job title is.

I dont know what level of intelligence it takes to make proper, timely confirmation calls to a patient, but the staff that handles that for multiple locations has repeatedly failed to make appropriately timed phone calls to patients it seems. They wait until theres less than 24hrs before an appointment to suddenly reveal to you that your insurance has changed and they wont take it, or that after a year of being seen I suddenly need another referral? !

Now, none of this would be that big of a deal if it weren't for the complete lack of time sensitivity for the busy lives of patients, health concerns, current pandemic, and the long waiting periods / travel distances for doctors appointments. They have the bedside manner of a moss covered stone and seem to be as lax and apathetic as the rest of South Florida which expects people to just accept a string of mess-ups. They always just brush off the fact that they are choosing last minute to notify a person. To make matters worse, they don't make much of an effort to actually make contact.

It takes MONTHS at times for an appointment. We have to wait WEEKS to be seen because of how busy it is, and that's ok!

But how are you going to wait until TWO HOURS before an appointment to suddenly drop that I wont be able to be seen? Again, i put none of this blame on the doctor as she is amazing at her job, which is not patient confirmation calls.its astonishing that in a field that requires such intense study and practice that its so hard to find competent patient follow-up staff or whatever it's called, but im going to go ahead and assume that it takes little to no intelligence or scholastic experience to call patients and tell them about insurance or appointment info within reasonable time! We've waited so long for this appointment which is severely NEEDED because my partner cannot breathe! What is more astonishing is how the day BEFORE, they called to confirm an appointment and made NO MENTION OF ANY ISSUE, an appt.which they later called to say was no longer happening- 2 hours right before the appointment. Now we have to wait another couple of months? How can anyone be so inconsiderate or absent minded at any medical office?

I have to drive TWO freakin hours to this office, and even more if im traveling to the other locations. Its not conducive to make me drive a ridiculous distance only to find out when i get there that "oh umm.sorry we cant see you today. " all because they failed to do their painfully simple job properly. All they had to do was call ANY TIME in the weeks/months prior. The insurance information changed WEEKS ago and when you fail to contact us in an appropriate time, we assume there IS NO ISSUE. It's heartless, as heartless as the person over the phone sounded when he so casually dropped this information that I'm sure he's had for weeks. He didn't even bother to empathize.

I reiterate, the doctor is amazing, the nurses and doctor's assistants are all top notch. The patient reception or whoever manages the billing and patient contact/ appointment staff etc. (Again I don't know the specific job title), at this location and Hollywood (since these are the only locations who ever gives me the same last minute issues), are the very same self-important mediocre individuals that makes south florida such an impossible place to find proper healthcare assistance. Its a shame that there are so many amazing doctors in south florida who get bogged down by incompetent or irresponsible other staff. Honestly I'd be less angry if the dude had just shown even a sliver of empathy.

I stopped myself from saying anything about it the first time, even the 2nd time. This is the 5th time they pull this kind of bull at more than one location
And honestly it's getting really old.

Dr. Levine was great and took care of my medical issue, however, their billing department is rude and degrading. I paid my copays as requested during the visits. Months later I’m receiving phone calls demanding payment and stating “There has been no new payment on your account. ” I understand they MUST get their money, but they don’t understand, it’s the middle of a pandemic and some people, including myself, are out of work. Have some respect for people and be considerate.
