Shingle Creek Regional Park - Steffee Landing reviews
23This is a swamp area. You can sometimes see alligators but was disappointed because I didn't see one. There is an old homestead and some hiking trails. You can also rent a canoe to explore the swamp.
Great place to kayak, canoe, paddle board- it's close to city with nature right at your doorstep.always enjoyed my visits.
This is a great spot to step away from tourism and into nature. I rented a kayak and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The river was beautiful. I'd like to go back sometime to walk the trail.
Great hidden spot. We are homeschoolers so we are always looking for hidden history in this great state. This is definitely a nice spot to get a quick history lesson in. But it can be hsrd to find. Blink and you'll be making a u turn to double back. But for sure worth it.
This open space and accompanying trail is within twelve miles of a much more heralded public space - Disney World and Universal Studios. Yet in its pristine beauty and accessibility it is an alternative to the busy ness of Disney.
Try the canoe and kayaking for one hour.
The rates under $35 per hour- and the savvy ness of the Outdoor staff are wonderful!
Delightful little park tucked in the midst of sprawling development. Based around a historic structure, there is a pleasant path and bridge over Shingle Creek. Rental kayaks and canoes are also available for exploring the abundant wildlife.
It is surprisingly nice. Just off of 192, it is invisible from the road, unless you know where to look. 1 mile board walk over the swamp. Access to the creek for canoeing and the trail for biking.
We bumped into a local that gave us a full tour that spent an hour telling us EVERYTHING about the park. We had a GREAT time!
Tried the various trails on foot. Too chilly today for kayak. Rental prices a little high compared to Sobe Surf on Merritt Island.
This park was like finding heaven. The area is quiet and a nice place to wonder. You can even rent a kayak or canoe by the hour or day. We walked over the bridge built in the 1800ed, under 192 to the museum and gift store. A good way to spend an afternoon.
Nice place to walk and bike ride. There's tables to eat and kayaking available too. Nice grassy areas to have the kids run and play.
Beautiful day! We had a great time! Make some time and bicycle or walk.its destressing.enjoy the fresh air
A great spot right in town to escape for some nature. Free launch of you have your own paddle board too. Stays relatively open until further up the stream where it starts winding a bit more. Been several times and have only seen one gator so safe there.
Poor Lighting, Lack Of Technology, Outdated Unsafe Outlets No outlets to charge electronics throughout the day. Homeless acoholics and drug addicts on the trails throughout the day.homeless camps in the offbeaten trail paths. Just poorly maintained by the city 15 miles from disney wow
Loved the experience. Had the river for me, as I was the only one on the water. Very magical spot for paddleboarding. Thanks to the owners and employees for the great moment
Alex was our tour guide and he was fantastic! One of the most knowledgeable about the eco system. This made for a great time! THANK YOU, Alex! A must do tour for families and corporate team building exercise!
Gentle hike through real Florida swamps. Get a great experience without getting feet Wet! Optional kayaking.
Shingle Creek is a nice place to go hiking walking the trails and seeing nature he can also go fishing at Shingle Creek is lots of wildlife to see wild turkeys and deers
I love it here. Get away from the rat race into nature! I seen deers here riding my bike on the trails!
