Shining Light Church, Sarasota FL

I find the Holy Spirit of God in this church and it's members. They love the Lord and they don't hide it. Humbly representing Jesus and welcoming anybody and everybody with open arms. I thank God for leading me to this family.

We really love this church and and can recommend it to everyone who is needing to be fed spiritually, experience awesome worship and connect with genuinely caring people.

Pastors Stephen and Jennifer are true shepherds of God's people and we really find it to be a wholesome, non-toxic place to connect with other believers.

The pastor just rambles on. He doesn't preach the gospel. He just says whatever comes to his mind. Not that the Holy Spirit is guiding his sermon. He is just jumping from one thought to the next. He's speaking his own words and not the gospel. Nice people, but the sermon needs a lot of work. I've been here for almost an hour and haven't heard gods word or the gospel being preached yet. He wanted us to give a review on Google and get more people in the church. In my opinion, these sermons won't speak to anyone or have a message from the Holy Spirit. Until he actually speaks the gospel and has some direction in his sermons. Now I see why one person left a review "Not my brand of religion. " I wholeheartedly agree if this is how he preaches a sermon. I don't recommend this church if you're looking to praise and hear the messages of the gospel.

I came to Shining Light Church for the first time. I came all alone and everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to introduce themselves and made me feel right at home! Pastor Stephen and his family came up to me right away shook my hand and made the whole experience great. I would definitely recommend!

Pastor Steve & family are very sincere.
Church is based on bible principles & hosted Steve Jones (healer/evangelist) which was exceptional.) Young people have a place.
Warm & inviting.
Great coffee bar gathering in lobby.

I love Shining Light Church! Pastors Stephen and Jennifer offer knowledgeable teachings of the bible in relatable manners, and help to bring the gospel to a new light! The Wednesday evening service is always wonderful, the worship team does a great job as well!
