Shipwreck Island Water Park reviews
14Went on a weekday with my granddaughter. Overall had a good time. The challenge is when groups bring bus loads of kids. The day we went 3 buses filed with kids made for a tougher day riding slides and trying to avoid the large crowds of aggressive kids doing what kids do.
The water attractions were great. The staff not so great. Out of the 1000 staff you maybe had 5 good ones. The place is absolutely filthy. Their kitchen is disgusting from what I saw. I watched a staff member dig in the ice container without an ice scoop. That’s against health code. Looks like the managers/owner needs to teach their staff the safe to serve protocols.
Only one person working the food counter and the line was very very long. The rest of the staff were walking around clueless on their phones Where is the manager? Never-mind she is just as clueless. The place has potential but what absolute dive.
Not super crowded but only giving 3 stars because the staff was not willing to help us obtain the double rafts from those not using it for the slide that REQUIRES you to use one. They also had a bunch on the staff side that needed to be inflated t but they didn't bother to do that either. My 7 year Olds and myself waited for over 30 minutes watching several adults taking these rafts from kids and making us wait this long before spending another 15 minutes waiting on a manager to help us then another 15 minutes before anyone bothered to do anything. There were only about 50 ppl in the entire water park this day. Should've never taken that long for 1 water slide
A lot of fun. A little more expensive than I think it should be. But fun for the kids and adults
We had a lot of fun we got rained out of course but the manager gave us free entrance and food ticket so that was a plus didn’t take any pictures but the memory what matters
It's not really worth $45. Only 2 ok sized water rides for adults. The bathrooms are literally the worst Ive ever seen, the smell is unbearable. You will have to find a two seater float to ride one of the rides. I would only recommend for families with children under 8.
So fun! The slides are super awesome and the workers were fun and nice. Went on July 4th and spent 4 hours there. Only about 4 actual big slides but a lot for little kids.
We had a great time. Lazy river is awesome. The water slides and kids area were well run and clean.
Fun place for the family. I've been here a few times. There is plenty of fun for everyone. My last visit there seemed to be more arcade games in need of repair than usual. The lazer tag park was fun. Batting cages we closed for maintenance. It rained while we were there so we didn't play mini golf or ride go karts.
Daughter visited Mother's Day with God child and I had a blast. Plus Shipwreck Island was free for all Mother's day.
Food service needs better management. Lifeguards were in good form. Lines were not too bad.
It's always close on the water park side for the whole vacation for us at least but still very fun!
We went yesterday for the first time and for 29.99 a person was a great deal! The lazy river is large and the wave pool was great! Only compliant is there are long long lines for food yet you aren’t allowed to bring your own food. Lines were over an hour wait! But the waterpark was great! Would come again!
Awesome Water Park! My kids (5,6,11) and I really enjoyed our trip here! Not to big.not to small, just perfect!
