Have bought many items from Shooters World and have always had great experiences. My latest purchase was a gun safe that I got an awesome deal on. I couldn't be more pleased!

Great place to get your rounds off. A little bit impersonal, but overall great experience.

I shouldn’t have to give them an ID to setup an account to purchase from this establishment. They apparently won’t do the transaction without your private data. SMH Won’t be dealing with this store again…

Will not be back to this store again. Wasnt able to shoot half of my 9mm ammo because it was aluminum case. Basically, the guy cleaning the bays would have to actually sweep or bend over to clean up spent casings. Damn, its almost like Im paying to use the bay which pays for your wage to do that job.

Secondly, they sell targets here, but unless you buy the adhesive targets, theres no way to mount them to the cardboard. Pretty standard for ranges to have a staple gun or pins to mount targets, but not here.

Just all around a pretty sad excuse for a gun range. Dont even think about buying ammo here. It costs 50% more here than anywhere else. Spend your money somewhere else.

Decided to stop by on my family’s trip to Orlando looking for a Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical, amongst other things. Very spacious with a nice selection of weapons. Plenty of firing lines with easy access to tethered hand guns to peruse. The one crucial thing they are missing is customer service. We walked in without being greeted. The person at the counter didn’t even look up to acknowledge us. We walked around for about 25 minutes and couldn’t find anyone to help us. The one person at the counter had someone they were dealing with, so we walked around again and when we came back they were gone, so we left. Maybe turn the place into a museum like in the movie Demolition Man, because if there is no one to sell you anything, why bother?

Had a fantastic experience here purchasing two firearms. I am new to this and Bill & Keith answered all of my questions, gave advice, and helped me save some money. They even stayed late to process everything so I wouldn’t have to come back the next morning. Huge thank you to Bill & Keith! Two really nice and knowledgeable guys.

I'm very disappointed. I attempted going to Shooters World Orlabdo 11/26/23 for a special deal they had on that ended yesterday. Got on the road and turned around by law enforcement because there had been a training accident. I do hope the person is alright. Anyway, called this morning to see if they were extending the sale today because they were closed the remainder of the day and was told a flat No.

I attended the Ladies-Only: Introduction to Handguns class with JC and wow, what an amazing experience! I entered nervous and scared to shoot a gun for the first time but after JC's easy to follow instruction, I left with a huge smile and can't wait to go back! He was very serious when teaching about safety and knowledge so I understood the weight of this responsibility, but he taught with a light-hearted personality that made me feel comfortable enough to ask all the questions I wanted and needed to. It's obvious he loves and respects what he does and I felt safe in the range with his assistance. My goal was just to get comfortable enough around guns to have one at home for protection and I didn't think I would accomplish that after only one class! I had a lot of fun which I wasn't expecting and the building itself was super clean and lovely. Thank you!

Had a fantastic experience here with my son. We are visiting from Ireland, this is not the first gun range we have been to in the states but it has been the best. Extremely helpful staff, plenty of guns and range space. TJ in particular at the gun counter really helped us out, took his time and made great recommendations. We enjoyed it enough to stick around and buy a few small bits and 100% will be back on our next trip to Orlando, very tourist friendly for people who are not used to being around guns but want to give it a go.

I’ve gone a few times here and there has been some employees that really stuck out as great employees. I’ve gone a few times and it wasn’t always a great experience, so for me what makes them distinguishable was their passion, knowledge and most of all care. I went yesterday to make a purchase and this employee Bill G was everything a good salesman should be. He was very knowledgeable it was also evident that he loves his job and genuinely seemed to care about selling a good product to me. I would enjoy doing business with him again.
Another employee I came across was a brief interaction, but a comforting one. I can’t remember his name, but he had some gaming tattoos. He was overall pleasant to be around and to talk to. He was doing some work around the place, but stopped to answer my question. The last employee I don’t remember his name either, but he was a range officer with a CIB badge. My father and I were helping a buddy out with shooting for the first time and this range officer took interest and helped out as well, but you can see he really cared. He had a real interest and he was very humble and enjoyable to be around. All of these employees showed dedication to their job, care and sincerity. It’s employees like them why I will go back, because not every employee has been welcoming, but these deserve their recognition.

I took my concealed carry license there because is the only place that seems trustworthy when taking the CCL for the first time. Also, you get to demonstrate your defense skills by shooting down the range with your gun or a rented one for the class. But since the moment I got there the people at the front desk were giving wrong information about whether Shooters World can or cannot provide you with a gun to do your CCL class when clearly on the email clearly states that a gun will be provided but the ammo you have to buy if from them at the time of your class. I brought my own pistol and ammo, but a lot of people were told you couldn't do that and some were told yes you can. But I think the worst part was that the instructor had a lot of issues with people's names and printing out the certificates with very bad spelling of names and last names on the certificates. I don't know how he got all the names wrong when we signed up with our names on a sign-up sheet in front of him and all the names were clearly readable with no issues. Also, the instructor made a lot of bad jokes that almost nobody laughed and including some political jokes. On top of that, it made the class run for longer because the class was supposed to end at 1: 30 pm and at that time we still had like 20 more minutes of class and we still needed to practice our shots at the range. I even had to call out sick to work since I couldn't make it out of there on time. But if all of that had been avoided it and he hadn't messed up everyone's name, it would have been a much better experience and faster.

This place is a nice facility, but it’s not worth it to be a member, especially if you plan on going on weekdays. There are 3 range options, 25/50/100 and during the week it seems like they shut down one of them every day for Security guards or cops to attempt to qualify. Every single item they sell is overpriced and the range tablets to control the target distances has had issues on nearly every single visit.

Me and my mother had a private lesson with the instructor Brian. He was extremely informative and intelligent about gun safety. I highly recommend Brian if you will be doing any private lessons. Thank you!

Took my wife to the First Shot class last week and I was very impressed with JC on sharing his knowledge and tips from the class. I was impressed that he was able to convince my wife to shoot as she was adamant about shooting at all, she had never ever touch a gun in her life. Her first three shots were right on the middle of number 5.kudos to JC, Now i must be careful not to get my wife mad at me (ja ja)

Shooter's world has always been a mecca for gun enthusiast. However this time when I went in it seemed as though they had reduced their inventory of accessories. So much so that I had to go somewhere else to find what I was looking for. I don't know if this was just due to low stock or a conscious effort in carrying less. Still a good store still good staff still good gun ranges. However I was a bit bummed at their lack of accessories.

Staff are rude, uneducated about their jobs and lack knowledge of gun laws. I have gone twice to this place. The 1st time I had gone, I filled out the waiver info and paid the $30 for 1 hour on the 100yd range. I had NFA guns so the staff demanded to see my Tax Stamps. Even though I had my paperwork with me, as always when moving NFA guns, I informed them that I'm not obligated to show my tax stamps to range staff due to the litigation of papers being legal tax documents which no-one has legal ground to demand access to except for IRS agents, ATF Agents, LE with a warrant, or a Court with court order. The reponse was to tell me it was store policy and that as an FFL, they are legally obligated to ensure all NFA guns on the grounds are legally registered for liabilty sake. Having worked for an FFL and SOT for many years, I knew that wasn't the case as I wasn't booking these guns into their inventory which would then require a copy of the Stamp be provided while in their possession. Their mere presence on the premises and in my posession does not demand checking papers. I asked if the same liability applied to my car and it's verification of being insured was applied while parked out in their parking lot? To which, I got a retort of that isn't even remotely the same thing. Realizing I was wasting time and energy, I showed my paperwork for my 11" barreled rifle. Afterwards the employee demanded to see my NFA paperwork for my other gun, a 20" barreled M16A2 clone? So now I know they just hire people that hang out at the bus stops outside walmart here as they have no idea what they are looking at when dealing with NFA. THEN, they demanded I download all 4 30 round lancer magazines to check for steel cased ammo. The mags were see-through.come on. They didn't even have a magnet on hand and had me wait with all 120rds spread across a counter to go find a magnet and ensure none of these shiny brass rounds were actually steel or that the rounds were steel core. For a gun range to carry policies that support the statist restrictions against americans is down right shameful. Add in the rude demeanor of the staff on my inital walk in really set the tone here. The range itself is nice though. That was trip number 1.

A few weeks later, I go in the morning to use the 100yd range. But now I'm charged $40 when last time I was charged $30? I asked why and the clerk said the extra $10 is for 1st time range use and to give you a membership card. I said this wasn't my 1st time and that I wasn't informed about a membership registration and that I wasn't wanting to register for mebership. The clerk told me they sometimes wave the fee if the card machine is broken so that must've been what had happened and that I could pick up my card at the end. Then same deal of having to wait around as these guys find a magnet to inspect my ammo before going to the range, which didn't have the nanny RSO so even more waiting. Mind you this place starts a timer when you rent a lane so they can get every penny from you if you go past your 1 hour of time. I couldn't have been on the lane for 40 minutes before the RSO is telling me I had 2 minutes left. I realized they actually took the time from when I left the gun counter and applied it towards my time on the lanes. So range trip #2 and I get charged more for less. At least they didn't ask for NFA paperwork when seeing a 20" rifle this time. Didn't bother getting the membership card that was waiting as I'll never go back here and recommend that people stay away until they fix their policies.
