Was there over 6 hours. Was prescribed an inhaler for breathing issues. They forgot to give it to me when I left. I called and the man told me he would call it into my pharmacy. After midnight the nurse called me about the prescription and said I should come get it. I have to pay for transposition as my car was in the shop being rewired. I got there and the guy at the desk told me that it was already called into the pharmacy. It was not. This took over q0 phone calls. I got hung up on a couple times, and the nurses being rude to me. I had to pay 40 dollars again the next day to go there again to get it. The lady that handed it to me wasn't just rude, she lied, she said they don't call in to pharmacies except by the doctor himself, nurses can't. So why was I promised by everyone else that it was too be called in, which they do at every other hospital. I needed the inhaler and had to go 48 more hours without relief which was uncalled for. I have phone log of all calls. I'm sorry but I definitely will not be back to this hospital nor will I recommend anyone to go there.

I don't know where to begin. I had surgery hardware from my hip to my foot. The Dr was great. AFTER that things went down hill. I returned because infection disease and 3 other emergency rooms could not give IV antibiotics w/o knowing which ones. I returned to the er shore point port charlotte and was kept in my regular clothes I arrived in Sunday the 29. Then I was moved next AM, to the 3rd floor, RN jodi, and the short blonde decided before ever even knowing my situation.to ignore me at first, then later on to kick me out. They didn't know I had surgery there earlier that week. They left to discuss me, I was left hooked to my IV and the button rang forever. I peed all over and she had just told me to leave the hospital.she believed I was a lying drug addict.no proof of this.just a classy hunch, no drug test.no knowledge of my surgery.she ran got a slip trying to get me to sign willingly that I was leaving. She even had a wheelchair she brought. Then my boyfriend explained I just had surgery there and I need IV antibiotics. She tried to kick him out of the room and fix the terrible situation she created.and bully me alone, pushing me to sign a discharge paper after realizing that she really messed up. Never talked to me, never gave me a gown, kicked me out then tried to cover it by having me sign willingly. She chased us out and said oh your a ama now. Or something like that. I needed 6 weeks of IV antibiotics and she treated me like a sad little bum.had no idea how serious my situation was and that I had extensive surgery in that building a few days prior by Dr Mlnarik. She knew she messed up when she and the short blonde nurse ran out for 20 mins taking while I urinated in my bed. Tried to cover her behind after kicking me out, and labeld me a ama. When she had just told me to get out. Unbelievable. Unfortunate. No one should ever be treated the way Jodi and the other nurse treated me I literally peed all over myself in my clothes I wore for 2 days while she tried to make it my fault. I needed medicine. IV antibiotics. She told me I had my surgery in fort Myers. She told me I lied. She told me some one like me can't get IV antibiotics at home She humiliated me and I can only hope some one will address RN Jodi. I admitted in on Sunday Jan 29. Monday I was moved to the 3rd floor where I was in her pathetic care, along with a Dr who never looked at my leg and a blond nurse who accused me of sleeping all day on drugs. I am blown away by this. What world are we living in? I can only hope the people who humiliated me are approached about this situation. I cannot wrap my head around this and I don't see a decent excuse for this happening. Let down, mortified, and never being tricked to sign a release by women who have no business in a hospital what a joke Mary A.

Excellent RN and LPN working the evening shift when I presented with a Urinary/Prostate issue that required some immediate relief. Although the problem was not 100% "fixed", these young ladies brought me to a manageable comfort level until I could get in with my local Urologist for follow up. God Bless the kindness that they displayed and the relief that I was sent home with. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.
Sincerely,
Matthew Bullabough

1. Check in easy since I was already registered as a patient.
2. Drs, caregivers, testers were all extremely considerate, and I was very sick.
3. Dr saw me quickly, listened to me, ordered necessary tests.
4. I was in and out under 3 hours, which was a great experience for me!
Thank you to each one!

Everyone was very nice. They were very busy so the weight was kind of long but I believe they got to me as soon as they could and I definitely got results.

I was very lucky to go straight to the emergency room. I was in pain and my fever was above 100 degrees. They took care of me and 2 hours later my prescription was ready. I am extremely grateful for all the attention given to me that day.

ER receptionist was friendly and quick. The triage nurse was knowledgeable and helpful. Doctor was awesome, personable and did a great job with my stitches. The nurse or PA “Effy” who administered my medication and shot was curt and somewhat argumentative.
All & all a good experience and I am healing well.
Thank you!

Everyone was very kind and thorough. My only complaint was the time it took to get test back exceeded the times they stated it would take. I was there 5 hours.

The visit was fast an efficient the doctor gave me the meds that I needed and was very nice. I don’t always run into nice healthcare professionals, but this visit was a especially great.

Came to Shore Point Emergency room with a shattered knee cap. Emergency room attendant and nurse were all very nice and attentive. Dr was thorough and explained everything so we could understand what needed to be done.

The nurses were wonderful and it was very clean. The only problem I had was with the Doctor who wanted to admit me just to put a hard cast on my broken arm. After seeing my Primary Care Dr that Friday, he told me that the ER Doctor should have put the hard cast on instead of a splint. Then after waiting 3 weeks to see an Orthopedic Doctor who told me the very same thing. But also said that surgery on my arm may be necessary since the cast was not put on at the time of injury. Which will cause me to lose a lot of business and if my arm doesn't heal correctly, probably my occupation, since I am a Medical Massage Therapist. I kind of need both arms to work! So, I will find out on the 19th of January, whether or not I will be using your hospital.

What kind of cardiovascular unit doesn't have a cardiologist on a Thursday at 10am? But no problem trying to admit me to the tune of $3000 to wait till the next morning for one to show up
