Shores Terrace, Pompano Beach FL

Did not feel safe while staying here, rooms were filthy, staff were rude & looked at me with a grin on their face. The people next to us & below us were fighting all night. Over all I did not feel safe while staying here. Definitely will not be going back.

Love this place I live right across the street and I walk my dog at nite. Get checked in so I can wake up at 6am go there and meet a service person then back home before anyone knows I’m gone.

It's a old place all the locals used to flock to in the summer (to LIVE ON THE BEACH, WEEKLY, MONTHLY), and would have to go back inland in SEASON. "IF" you understand that, you understand what your getting. It's an old place Mom, Dad, and kids would come to vacation for a week every year in the 60's. I'm sure the owner is just holding out. Not to many of these places left. Zillion $$$ property right across a1a from the beach. If your looking for true beach life this is it, w/ pool, it is what it is. And will be sold out within the next 5-10 years.

I gave it a one star because I couldn't give it zero! WORST PLACE EVER! I lifted the toilet seat and it remained in my fingers and the attendant said it's just a cover. The toilet paper had fallen in the toilet and they just placed it on top of the toilet, probably because the toilet paper holder had been smashed. The whole bathroom looked like someone took a bat to it. The tub had mildew and was dirty in general. The attendant just used her hand to run away the dirt and said that it was the porcelain rubbing off. My son sat on a chair that looked perfectly fine, just to almost fall through because it didn't have a bottom. There's a back door that doesn't fully close. There's an air conditioner that leaks water INTO the room. My son sat on the bed and got bit by something. I told the attendant that I could not stay there and she was baffled and asked why. I was not raised with money and actually I believe we were poor, but I've NEVER lived that way. The attendant asked what I wanted to do and I told her that I would be canceling the charge on my card. She said ok and that she was sorry. I booked through Priceline, which I didn't realize used Booking.com as a partner, so they connected me with BOOKING. COM. I spoke with Juan who told me that the cancelation would cost me MORE than what I paid and he had to email the hotel and request a cancelation fee waiver, but if it were denied, I would be charged the extra fees. I told him that that was fine because I was going to call my bank and cancel the payment as soon as I finished with him. He then proceeded to hung up on me! NEVER STAY HERE AND NEVER USE BOOKING. COM!

Guys be aware of the peeping cleaning lady Danielle. She will look in your bathroom window &watch you take a shower. Dance for you in the office, like

Willing to do all he can to make your stay comfortable. Now his staff, so unprofessional.loud & maid service very dirty. Office hours are very limited.

The room was very dirty. Walls, floors, shower, bed, couch. We told them the room needed cleaned and the bedding was gross and they just took the sheet off and left us without one. Then we found out our window was broken with nothing covering the hole. It was not worth the money. The only good thing was it was close to the beach.

Excellent and caring staff in the most convenient location. Which MORE than makes up for the lack of modern technology and extra frills. We had an issue where my credit cards and petty much everything we own were stolen and they accepted us in and even let us have later check out to work out options on staying due to the lack of finances we currently had. The room comes equipped with a kitchentte including full size fridge, nice sink, loaded dishes and utilities as well as pots & pans. Did have to ask for a microwave but they brought it to us in no time. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon. Thanks for your kindness!

The rooms and staff are top notch. We searched around the Beach and the owner treated us like Queens and Kings. You will not find s better or cleaner Motel than Shores Terrace.

The whole place gotta go. Bed bugs. That lady Danielle is dirty and she does clean. Not only did they have bed bugs but roaches everywhere. Only dope dealers and dope heads stay there. And she talking about you get what you pay for HOW? If you gonna book here you might aswell stay outside on the beach. It was like 3 overdoses. Oh yea DANIELLE IS DIRTY

This is going to be the most honest unbiased review out of all of them 1st and foremost "You get what you pay for"! This is the most affordable place you will find in or around the area. It is not advertised as a 5star resort, instead it is listed as"vintage". Yes, it is an older building but the owner is consistently investing in upkeep and maintenance but does so in a cost efficient manner which results in lower rates. The staff does make efforts to keep their guests comfortable. Most people who stay here are repeat guests and/or long term tenants and no, IT IS NOT section 8, far from it. It's an expensive lifestyle to live directly across from the beach and not just anyone can afford it. During season, plenty of repeat tourists return. The reason why.same reason I come back: the owner makes you feel like he cares about you & your family, the long term tenants make it feel like your a part of a tight knit community where borrowing sugar or anything else you may need isn't a thing of the past, there are 2 pools that are regularly cleaned and meet the city's code requirements, most rooms have kitchens or at the least microwaves, refrigerator's and if you just ask, housekeeping will try to accommodate other requests including toaster ovens, coffee makers, even crock pots. Your provided with 1 set of clean towels and sheets upon check in. Guests are getting the best rate in town for pools, internet, satellite, cold a/c not to mention the beach. Sure guest smoke outside their rooms that's because smoking isn't allowed in the rooms. There will always be those that complain, that's life.

This place is a dump dirty rooms.way overpriced for what it is.priced doubled since last year! So severe price gouging.slumlords.bugs.non professional etc etc etc

This place was completely gross.i showed up to look around and see if i liked it.we walked right out because we saw bugs and the pool was filthy.the pictures are comepletey false advertisment.

Overall room is filthy and smelly. Sheets, curtains and furniture are stained. Bathtub is dirty. No toilet paper holder, no shampoo.

The water in the kitchen sprays everywhere the ac is install right above the kitchen sink the bathroom makes crazy noises the bed was very comfortable if you need a place for the night only the night I would reccomend

Booked a room with 2 queen beds, showed up at around 11am when we got into town to see if check in was possible and to let them know we were in town and they wouldn’t let us check in till 3. No problem, we had a dive planned and didn’t get back to hotel until 6pm. At 5pm I get a text asking if we still planned to check in, to which I replied yes. When we got to the motel at 6ish we were informed they gave our room away and all that was available was a single queen. With no other options for that night we were forced to take the room.

The rooms are old, dirty, falling apart. Appears to be many long term tenants, possibly section 8.

We found another place to stay for the remainder of the trip.

Wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone.

Nice people working there, just old and run down and people always hanging around my front door smoking, did not like that
