Sidelines Sports Bar and Restaurant, Pensacola Beach FL

First visit, and it did not disappoint. The service was great. The food was hot and fresh. Reasonably priced items. A must visit whenever you're in Pensacola Beach.

The 3 girls at the door were rude, the food wasn't very good. But the waitress robine was nice. Lots better places to eat on Pensacola beach. We only went here for the Monty Cristo and it's was just ok!

I love their wings and their mushrooms.
Tons of games on TV's, great food, and right next to the beach. What more can you ask for. I love this place.

Have lived here for 44 years. During which our family frequents sidelines regularly. That said they are slipping. We have been sitting at our table for over an hour waiting on 2- 10 piece wing plates and no it is not crazy busy. Looking at open tables now. Who ever is running the back end, no longer needs to be. I am sure one of the tourists traps are looking for a back end manager.

Inconsistent svce between Sat & Sun.

Sat was great, Sun was wanting (slow food & caught Supervisor watering drinks down).

Seemed like a new staff but same great service and food. Must visit for sure. My favorite is the Florida Fish sandwich. I get grilled, but you can also get it fried

Food quality is on the lower end of average. Service people seemed to be either not qualified for the job or simply not motivated. Place has a certain Charme though. Nice to sit in.

I'm a local and I could kick myself for not eating here sooner. Came in with a group of five. We were all pleased with our meal. I got the Sideline Supreme (fish sandwich) The grouper was delicious. The others got Florida fish sandwich, mushroom Swiss, French dip and wings. No one left hungry or disappointed. Our server Robin was the best. Should have got her schedule so we can had her again. She needs a raise. Definitely will be back and I will recommend Sidelines.

We have been outspoken supported of Sidelines Sports Bar for many years as local residents. However, last night was very disappointing. The chicken wings came out very late, even after two tables that arrived well after us were served. The wings were so small we questioned if they were Cornish hens. Hopefully they aren't simply sacrificing quality to maximize profits or simply taking advantage of tourists.

Typical, nice american sportsbar at the beautiful pensacola beach. Make sure to have a reservation during typical rush hour slots.

Ok, if you see my posts you will notice that I'm usually very generous with my reviews, but Sidelines Sports Bar was extremely disappointing, food wise (service was great Thanks Lauren) chicken wings even though they were supposed to be with lemon pepper and butter garlic they tasted like nothing was on them not even salt. Fries were saggy, the grilled shrimp meal also was blend and tasted old. Not sure if we will be visiting again.

Sidelines is our favorite spot to catch a great meal at Pensacola Beach. From fresh fish to wings to burgers, everything we’ve had is great here.

We enjoyed the food, the patio, and the prompt friendly service. Wings were great - the boys had grilled cheese & chicken tenders (with a chocolate chunk cookie) from the kids menu.

We stopped in before bands on the beach, and it was quite busy. Plus, it's tourist season. We were prepared for this. Once we were seated, I ordered my usual GO TO: Sidelines Supreme, (without the bun) and my date ordered the Caribbean Chicken sandwich. You cannot go wrong with either one. We have always had exceptional food here. Margeaux our server, was on que. Our drinks were never empty and Kevin the Manager stopped by to say Hello, make sure everything was just right.
A great Pensacola Beach Gem

Sidelines is consistently satisfying. Their food is good. You can usually find conversation or not, whichever you prefer. You can almost always find football on a screen at the bar. Knock on wood, I've always found a parking spot by the bldg as well. And they make a great bushwacker. You really can't go wrong here.

Sidelines is a surprisingly decent sports bar and grill with a pretty good menu and variety.
I had the mushroom burger. My wife had the Reuben. Both were great. We also had chips and salsa - not so great, but fine for beach fare.
Weekend and evening parking will be challenging.

My family comes here every week! We are locals and support local businesses. Sidelines has the best food, and caring staff on the beach! We will always be a supporter of this great restaurant! Thank you Sidelines!

The Monte Cristo was AMAZING! The service was even better! Will absolutely be back here before leaving the island.

This place is hit or miss, and yesterday the food was terrible. Wings were hard and tough, and French fries were not cooked enough: white and limp. If that weren’t bad enough I got sick that night with stomach cramps. I have experienced good dining there, but apparently during tourist season, the food suffers. Absolutely awful food! If you can’t cook French fries, you can’t cook.

Waited over 45 minutes to get food because a baseball team had came in. Wasn’t told ahead of time the kitchen was behind. Burger was burnt and fries were as if they were the frozen ones you can buy. Wings were so-so, wasn’t really impressed. Ambiance had no music and was just a bunch of people talking.why be a sports bar if you don’t have any audio from tvs or any music on a Friday night? ! No empathy from server for us waiting over 45 minutes to eat. Overall not impressed by the very low quality food and ambiance and most definitely will not be back.
