Siesta Sun Beach Villas reviews
12Great Place newly renovated close to all plus it gets better the beach is their backyard clean and nice people
I have been staying in these villas for over 14 years. The management has changed and no one cares anymore the attitude is horrible, the service is not even 1%. We will not come back. This time we were at APT 16. The beds squeaked all night long. The toilet running, mold on walls, broken
bedroom wall, closet doorhangs on the floor, broken umbrella, broken screen door to the porch. Very disappointed. The front desk lady named Donna was inconvenienced every time I asked for garbage bags, paper towels, soap etc we paid a pretty good amount for 8 days never again.
I wish the beach still only had these on it. Amazing rooms with ground floor ocean front walks out on the beach.
Location was good, room needs lots of work, maintenance man very cool, manager needs training. Inexcusable customer service behavior from manager.
What has always separated this property from all the other ones was the experience I made with my family.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and my family have become regulars to siesta sun.
I like some of the changes that have been recently made.
For one, I feel like the pool is a lot cleaner. I love that access badges for the private beach and pool.
I stayed in unit 4 which served its purpose but needs some fixing up.
I am concerned with how management handles their money and how they treat guest.
I sent a check to pay off my reservation. The reservation number was clearly printed on the check and somehow they manage to deposit the money in the wrong reservation.
Now, it was an honest mistake since the other reservation was a family member who shares my last name.
I didn’t appreciate how management informed me that I needed to contact my family member and request that money back. Management never apologized for that mix up.
In addition, the family vibe that I was always use to is slowly going away. The building manager didn’t take the time to remember our names and gave the impression that she didn’t really care.
Furthermore, their were groups there that usually book a year in advance which the unit owners don’t have an issue with but management is trying to push everyone back a week since “their doing us a favor”
Giving you business is not us asking for favors. We can take our money elsewhere.
You need to respect your customers especially when you have better quality competitors around you.
All in all, I had great time. I am not a fan of management. If you send a check call ahead and verify. Always call ahead and verify.
I would even suggest calling in and booking over the phone. Make sure you get a receipt!
We stayed in unit 7A, and it was very comfortable, updated, and clean. Close to beach, convenience store, restaurants, and free trolley stops. Would book again!
Our family spent every summer from the year Siesta Sun opened in 1958 until 2005, with return visits as often as possible since. The property has evidently been consistently, lovingly maintained throughout its history.
In addition to being a perfect location for our family on the nation’s most iconic beach, we have so many rich memories here and would love to own one of the villa condos if one ever becomes available. Visiting Siesta Sun truly is like coming home again, every time!
A little piece of heaven! We loved our first time stay here at Siesta Sun! Our villa was amazing and Linda with management was wonderful and helpful and we can’t wait to go back again!
Very classic. One of the few remaining hotels in the area that still has charm to it, and not a view-busting high rise. Clean spaces throughout, right on the beach, easy access to markets.can't ask for much more. The pool and scoring out with daily sunset views also helps~
I am a returning guest at Siesta Sun. This week I called to book 2 villas. And I have to say that Linda's energy was far from what I have come to expect from this property. She was very rude and cold. She really seemed as if I was bothering her. More than 3 times telling me the information I was asking for was online. I asked for a total which I never got during the entire call. And finally I just gave up. I couldn't believe how she just talked over me and talked to other people while I was speaking. So later I decided to check the reviews. And now that I have seen them maybe I should just go elsewhere. Such a shame. This was my favorite place on siesta key.
Wonderful lodging for the 3 of us. Great location, nice unit, nice staff. Awesome beach and whitest sand. Making memories!
