Lori Chaffin was very Professional & Communicative through our whole process with buying our home. I would highly recommend her as your Closing Agent!

Wonderful staff and awesome company! I worked with Lori Chaffin on my last file which was no cake walk, cut and dry file! Real stress cooker! However, She went above and beyond to help make this deal happen. Her communication, REALISM and professionalism will 100% exceed you and your clients expectations. She’s extremely knowledgeable with years of experience in the industry. She knows all the tricks in the book and will exhaust all her resources to get your deal to the closing table as smoothly as possible! Highly recommend! If you are an agent you NEED Lori in your “toolbox”

If I could give zero stars I would! We bought our home March 18th, 2022 worst title company ever. I think her name was Jennifer she had a bad attitude and very unprofessional. A lot of things negative went wrong and we had a bad experience. First, we had our closing date on March 18,2022. Our real estate agent had to get in contact with Jennifer the day of our closing; to 100% know if we were closing on the 18th. She stated she was waiting on the sellers, but the sellers already signed and sent the paperwork. After closing she was supposed to send our deed, we had to get in touch with her to receive it 6 months later. Also, the check that was supposed to be sent to our home insurance was never sent, and it was canceled. She keep saying she over nighted the check each time, and it was almost canceled a second time. Would not recommend this company to anyone!

If i could give zero, they would get it. Worst title company ever! Let’s start with the fact that after we signed everything needed to close, they fired an employee that was handling our account and couldn’t find any of that paperwork. My husband physically went to their office a month before closing to sign a POA and they lost it! 2 days before closing they decided to tell us so my husband had to hunt down a notary on a Saturday after he got off work to get a bunch of things notarized for closing on Monday. Bringing us up to monday day of close…. I had to call them to find out what time I was supposed to be there because they told me on Friday they would call me to let me know and didn’t. I knew I had to wait until they got my husband’s paperwork from FedEx which wouldn’t have been delivered until the afternoon. They told me to go ahead and come at 10am because they didn’t need his paperwork… not sure how that works but whatever. I’m rushing to get ready to go in and have to wait like 10 minutes before they even bring in the paperwork. The new girl taking over the account kept apologizing and saying keep in mind I’m new here. She had been there for over 2 weeks, plenty of time to get our account in order. As I’m signing the papers I notice several mistakes and have to point them out! Seriously? ! So she goes and fixes it and in the meantime my toddler is getting fussy as what should have been a 10 min thing has now turned into over an hour fiasco. I tell them I need to leave and they give me my copies and I ask for my money for the notary my husband had to pay for no reason. They tell me they will send a check. I leave and am waiting all day to hear if we are closed as we are supposed to close on our new house 3 states away the same day at 4pm. They decide to call my realtor at 3: 30pm and say its not going to happen because they haven’t gotten the survey back yet. My awesome realtor called the survey company to find out what the problem was and was told the title company didn’t order the survey until Friday! So obviously closing wasn’t going to happen on Monday because signature title didn’t do their job and lied about it. They kept blaming the survey company but we have documentation that they didn’t order the survey in time. Keep in mind they also made the buyers drive 4 hours to sign paperwork that they knew they weren’t going to have because closing wasn’t going to happen. Tuesday survey company comes and gets it completed and late in day sent to lender to possibly close. Now hurricane comes and shuts down all banking transactions until Thursday. So now, I’m on a flight on to my new town to stay in my new house that I don’t even own yet because of this title company. My movers couldn’t deliver our furniture on Wednesday because we didn’t own the house yet. So my husband was already having to stay in a hotel from monday night on because we were supposed to be in our house on monday but we weren’t because like i said, they messed up. On Thursday when I arrive I have to call around for another hotel that has accommodations for my toddler to sleep in a crib since all of my items are still on the moving truck waiting to deliver to our home they were supposed to drop on Wednesday. Finally Friday arrives and we are waiting around to find out when we will close and we can move in. The buyers were about to get on a cruise so they were concerned as well. Finally that afternoon everything closed and we were able to move in. I called Alexa the owner of Signature Title on Monday to ask for money back for the inconvenience her company caused for not doing their job. They bold face lied to both parties in this transaction, and she acted like none of it was their fault. She reimbursed a little bit of fees and 50 bucks for the notary and thats it. Company should be shut down, they do not care about their customers.
