Silver Creek Apartments, Gainesville FL

Maybe the high reviews were relevant a year+ ago but it seems like this place has gone downhill. The office closed and we’re supposed to go to one in another complex about a 15 min drive away. If you see the review about the roaches, I agree with everything they said. The walls are quite thin and I had the misfortune of having loud neighbors so my experience here has not been great. Management changed and so did maintenance so any reviews you see about them from a year or more ago are no longer relevant. My experience is that this apartment was built in the 80s and hasn’t been touched since. I think some units have been renovated but mine wasn’t so I don’t know about those. If you are really desperate to move to Gainesville (for some reason?) and this is your only option, I’d still ask you to reconsider if you truly want to live here. I guess it’s not the worst but it’s not great either so do with that what you will.

Spacious apartment, comfortable apartment. Minor issue is lack of amenities compared to equally priced competitors, although I personally don't see this as a dealbreaker. Major issue is cockroaches.

I moved here because I read reviews saying these apartments are "clean" and I did not see any reviews of complaints about pests, which contrasts other apartments available nearby. I moved here because I gained the confidence from the reviews and the property manager promising me that the apartment is clean and free of pests. I am here to tell you that THERE ARE ROACHES!

Pest control inconveniently comes in on a regular basis to "treat" my apartment, but the pest control treatment unfortunately never seems to work. Like literally there's days when pest control would come in to treat the apartment and roaches appear the same night! Mind you I am a clean person. I never leave dishes in the sink, I sweep and mop the floors regularly, etc I clean up after myself.

I really hate to be the one leaving this review, I just want to help those that hate being around roaches. I am miserable here; imagine you wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and you see HUGE cockroaches crawling next to you.

I hope this helps future apartment hunters, and also hopefully Silver Creek management would see this and make a better effort to provide more effective pest control treatment for residents.

The front office staff were very personable and made you feel like you were right at home. They would always refer to us by name every time they saw us, would leave gifts for the residents and their pets. The groundskeeper, Carl, was exceptionally responsive to maintenance requests even though he was the only one. Maddie was really sweet and would always have a friendly smile on her face. They would do everything in their capability to keep the neighborhood clean and safe. The only reason we moved, was because we were tired of Gainesville and we got job offers elsewhere. If there was a way to bring the apartment complex and it’s employees with us, we would have. We miss you Maddie and Carl!

Cyndee and the staff at Silver Creek go above and beyond to help their residents! Everyone in the office is very pleasant and have wonderful attitudes. Cyndee helped me secure a unit for me and my family on short notice during one of the most stressful times in my life. I have peace of mind now knowing we have a place to stay and call home.

I lived at Silver Creek for about a year and a half. The staff (especially Madelynn (property manager) and Carl (maintenance supervisor) were extremely nice, polite, and addressed service requests promptly. The apartment (1 bedroom) was great - new appliances, clean countertops and windows, no bugs, etc. The pool and gym were also great, and the grounds were always well kept. I am so happy to have lived at Silver Creek, highly recommend.

If you want to hear street noise & your neighbors between the thin walls then move here. But if you want to be able to sleep at night without any noise, this is a BIG NO. It is located as well infront of a carwash and it’s an ongoing noise that does not stop the whole day. Personally would not live here again.

This complex is nice with a great location and spacious units, but this review is mainly about the property managers esp. Maddy, Cydnee and Alex. My experience in working with them has been noting but excellent. I have been a tenant most of my adult life and have worked with many property managements in several states, and have to say, these folks are by far the most professional and responsible property managers I have ever met! I have not written a review of a property manager before because, let's face it, it is hard to say nice things about the most, but these guys are an exception. Keep up the good work!

I have lived at Silver Creek Apartments for over a year now. I moved here from another state and Maddie was extremely helpful and very accessible. The entire staff is serious about their residents comfortability and safety. The property is gorgeous. Always maintained and clean. Very well lit and a quiet peaceful place. Works orders are addressed immediately. Carl is on the maintenance staff and goes above and beyond his job requirements. Location is perfect. I would absolutely recommend Silver Creek Apartments to anyone who is in search of a great place to live!

I lived at Silver Creek Apartments for three years. The office manager Maddie is always quick to respond, and everyone who works there is so nice! There's a washer and dryer in the unit, PLENTY of parking, It's right along the bus route for the 1,12, and 38 which can take you into campus, downtown, or Butler Plaza. Lovely dog park, if you have a pet, with a washing station. Rent is reasonably priced. There's no pest problems, and if you do have one, one call/email to the office, and Carl (maintenance) will spray around your apartment, and call in professional pest control services to spray as well with no cost to you. Carl is amazing when it comes to maintenance requests. He arrives quickly, does the work fast, it's detailed and professionally done, with no cost to you. He's also just a genuinely nice person who will always wish you a wonderful day. The apartments have been repainted and remodeled a bit recently, so it's nice to look at it. There's a pool, and a fitness area if that's you're thing. The walls are fairly thick, I only ever had issues with one particularly loud upstairs neighbor, but even then only on nights when they were at above average volume. I have enjoyed living here for three years, and can only hope my next apartment complex is as nice.

Absolutely love management, they care about us as residents and are so helpful. Maintenance comes quick and my apartment is exactly how i imagined it.

My son was already living there when Atrium Management took over. What a blessing it has been! Maddy, the office manager is amazing and exceptional and kudos to Carl, the maintenance manager, who always attended to service requests in a timely manner. I would recommend Silver Creek without hesitation!

I really enjoyed my stay at Silvercreek apartment. Very convenient location to UF health, grocery shopping and bus stop across the street. Staff is friendly and available most of the time. Maintenance is really good. Internet was provided with rent is very good speed and without interruption. Apartment is nice size with upgraded appliances.
