The SIXT staff was courteous, efficient and helpful, and we had a fine Toyota Camry. But BEWARE that unlike other rental firms who have an hourly overage charge, at SIXT you are charged a FULL ADDITIONAL DAY when you are even 30 minutes beyond a 24 hour rental. It is like a hidden surcharge that is not clear at the time of rental.

Also, some undercarriage panel came loose during our rental, probably just a malfunction, but SIXT is trying to blame us for this damage.

I have always seen their signs in the airports but have never rented from them before this. I always tend to call places like Enterprise and Hertz because I have seen their names more but after getting a quote for 1 week from Enterprise I decided to shop it. SIXT didnt just beat it a little they beat it by half. I figured for the lesser price I would end up getting shorted somewhere else but everything was perfect. The rental process was easy but what stood out more than anything was their representative that was at the counter when I picked up the car. Cheri was super friendly and cheery and made the experience perfect. I had just got off a long flight and was not in a great mood but within 30 seconds she had cheered me up by just how upbeat she was. MANAGEMENT if you are reading this you really should take a closer look at Cheri for upper management because she was a Rockstar! ANYONE looking for good rentals at better prices than the more known companies you really should check these guys out. The SUV I got was really nice and was clean and didnt smell like cheese which seems to happen more than you would think when renting cars. A+

Highly recommend rent a car agency with amazing deals and very professional and polite staff! Cheri was above and beyond!
her beautiful smile and professionalism made me adding Sixt to my priority list where i gonna rent a car in future!

I got a Yukon Denali but it seemed it was vandalized, it was dented, scratched and beaten up.this car only had 18.000 miles but was in terrible exterior and interior condition. The service checking in was great but the fact that the car was not properly clean and in such poor shape made me give this low rating.

Terrible experience. I would not recommend Sixt and will not use them again. I prepaid for a “Mystery Premium Sedan”. When I got to the counter, the associate Kevin D, said my car would be a Nissan Versa. I questioned him on wether that was considered a premium sedan and that I had prepaid for the mystery premium option. He assured me it was a Nissan Versa. I told Kevin D. I would not be comfortable in such a small car. Kevin D.said he could upgrade me for an additional fee. It was later in the evening and I felt I had no choice because I had a couple of hour drive ahead of me and I needed to leave to make my appointment.

I called the 800 number the next day to contact customer service. I told him the situation and they transferred me to a different number while left a voicemail. I never heard anything back, I called on the second day talk to a customer service representative again and was told I needed to send an email explaining the situation. I got an email back the day after that from the Fort Lauderdale branch telling me that I was out of luck because any disputes had to be taken care of within the first 1/2 of an hour after signing the contract. I did call the Fort Lauderdale branch at least six times and got no answer. I called the 800 number back again and they told me that the note stated that Kevin D.offered me a Volvo S 60 not a Nissan versa. That was an absolute lie. So after four days of going back and forth leaving several voicemails never getting a return call I was out an additional almost $300 for the week.

The 800 number with customer service seems to be a complete joke. They can’t do anything and refer you straight back to the branch.

I'm actually writing a review on Sixt at PDX airport as they are new and don't have a PDX link on their review page.

After returning their vehicle I looked on my bank statement the following day and was charged an extra $91 for what they say was a late return. In fact I returned their vehicle on time. After speaking with Charles the front desk associate at PDX airport he was very helpful and made the necessary corrections. Charles was on point, accurate and very helpful. I was emailed a new invoice with the correct charges which made me a happy camper. Thanks Charles.

The vehicle I wanted was not available and leads me to believe that they falsely advertise the model as we always end up with the “or similar” model. (Bait and switch) The clerk checked and the model I wanted and paid much above average for was not available in all of the state and hadn’t been for weeks. I had no option to choose a color or alternate vehicle. It was already assigned to me, was dirty and had many prior scratches. In times of Covid-19, these vehicles should be spotless and it wasn’t and that made me nervous so I had to wipe everything down. Very disappointed.

Cheri was an absolute angel! We had an unfortunate rental experience with another company and while waiting in an outrageous line I noticed Sixt and gave it a try. Cheri was so helpful, patient and kind! What was a crazy stressful day, she helped turn around and found us a quick alternative. We avoided missing our flight and couldn’t be more grateful! Cheri’s customer service was over the top! Thank you so much!

After renting a vehicle in Boston at the end of October, I was sent an invoice that cited I rented a Lucerne car (Mercedes) after having been given a Mazda when I showed up in Boston. I paid the fraudulent invoice just to be done with this company. The money I spend aligned with the invoice I had been sent, so I assumed I would just never do business with this company again, and I’d be done with the whole ordeal. However, my card was charged $15.30 today from the Fort Lauderdale branch today. I’ve never even been to Fort Lauderdale. I’ve opened a fraud claim with my bank, and will stop this company from trying to defraud me from here on out, but want to warn others that this is a terrible business that will attempt to charge you long after you’ve completed any transaction with them. They will not last in the market playing these types of games. Don’t waste you time, nor money with them… you’ll regret it if you do.

They didn't have the car I reserved. They offered me to down grade to a Toyota Corolla. So I had no choice to upgrade to an expansive SUV. The SUV car was smelling cigarette very baddly so I had to drive windows down all week.

Made a reservation for a Camry or similar and when I arrived to pick the vehicle up they told me they didn’t have what I reserved and proceeded to put me in a luxury vehicle. Being that I had already pre paid I didn’t feel I had much of a choice. I ended up paying double my original quote. Maybe try other companies before giving these guys a try. They also just charged me another 300 this morning? I’ve been charged $1100 dollars total for a weekend rental.

The gentleman who helped me was very nice and professional tho. I will give them that. Just kinda shady as a company in my opinion.

Called to see if they had Tesla’s or Hyundai Tucsons for rent for my upcoming vacation. Customer service agent picked up and just couldn’t be bothered with answering my questions, let alone confirm the cars they have. Just really uneducated people working here. As someone who rents cars to people in a tourist hot spot, I would not recommend you rent a car here. Don’t be fooled by the feedback on Google. That one phone call shows the kind of people SIXT hires to run on of their popular rental sites. My advice to SIXT is to invest in people more. Perhaps send them to communication classes before working the phones and desk - these are your gate keepers and the face of your brand. Totally disgusted by this girl.

I had the most awesome experience with Sixt agent Kavelle. He was so professional and patience with me and my wife with our rental car experience. I hope all that rent from Sixt get the opportunity to experience Kavelle’s wonderful customer service. Also the vehicle we rented was so nice I have considered buying the same model.

Well as a resident of Florida and a continued customer from Sixth I am sorry to say that I will not do business with this rental car company anymore instead I will support local companies, all of years and my travels I ha rented vehicles from this company using the same business card with no issues until today I ran across Alberto who was ok to deal with but not perferd, I was to that Floridians who try to rent vehicles from this company has to use a major credit cards and non natives can use debit cards I find that a bit strange of a business whose conducting business in Florida treats residents like trash and second class citizens for this reason I will no longer rent anything from Sixth.

If you want quality, cleanliness, and great customer service choose Sixt! Cheri is the reason my faith in car rentals is restored! She made sure I got everything I needed at the most excellent price. Mind you this is my first time ever using Sixt and the process was very quick and seamless. Honestly huge thanks to Cheri, she went above and beyond to help my team and I out to get the cars we needed. Over all, if your ever in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and need a car quickly, go to Sixt and ask for Cheri, your in great hands
