SIXT rent a car, Fort Myers FL

UPDATE: Sixt refunded my excess charges of $295.82 today. Happy with this result. Modified my review from 1 to 4 stars. Still wish I could have reached a live person to work out this problem sooner.

This Rental was a deceptive bait and switch. We rented a "luxury mystery car" when we landed in Fort Meyers Sixt App said Sixt was out of luxury options, (we landed after counter closed and guy at key counter said he couldn't help) as we walked by about 50 premium cars. Then we were forced to pay nearly double for the cheapest option. A non luxury Toyota highlander. We will take every opportunity to tell people on social media and in person to avoid Sixt. 1st & last time renting here. It's back to Turo for us.

SIXT has a price that was 1/2 of other rental companies. The 7 passenger vehicle I rented was wonderful, new, clean and included all the bells and whistles. Pick up and drop off were quick and easy. I would definitely recommend using SIXT.

Great car selection at a great price! I’ll take a BMW over a Ford Fiesta any day Pick up was super easy and I didn’t have to wait on a long line in the terminal

Excellent first time rental experience. Rented vehicle was not available -staff quickly secured an upgraded vehicle at no extra cost. No wait time at counter and counter located at airport terminal. Easy smooth rental pickup. Drop off just as easy. Staff always courteous, friendly and helpful. Will definitely rent again from Sixt. Thank you

Really enjoyed my first SIXT experience at Fort Myers, FL. The Customer Service Agent at pick-up was very friendly and knowledgeable. The car was fantastic and drop off was a piece of cake. I would definitely use SIXT again!

Great cars. Fair prices. Good customer experience. They do charge $15 a day for an extra driver which seems high. And the employee uniforms have to go - They are horrible - I feel bad for the employees having to wear those.

Very nice Toyota Highlander, couldn't drive the first one away as there was a service engine light on.

Wanted to put on an additional driver and they said that you can only do that in the office which is an 80 mile round trip. Go to Hertz where they accommodate customers needs. They need to rename it to STINKS

I was very happy with my rental at sixt. The car was In excellent condition. Clean and polished. The staff was not only friendly but also knowledgeable about their products. It was a great experience that I will recommend to everyone. Thanks again to the staff at the Rsw airport location.

Reserved a specific vehicle, but was not present when I arrived at the counter. Not happy.

Great experience with Sixt! Everyone was very helpful and the SUV we were put into was perfect. Always have been hesitant of toddler car seats at rental car companies but we needed two, and they were great - top of the line brand/model and very clean (seemed like they were brand new!) Lastly, small detail, but very good integration of online abilities through rental, check in, and check out, while also having in-person where needed and all very well informed and helpful people. Dont usually write reviews, but couldn't be happier with the experience so wanted to share.
