I had an issue separating a part to get to a pulley so I could finish installing my stroker. Ran to skips and they were able to separate the parts to retrieve my pulley for me. Great service. Will be returning to have my stroker tuned here.

After searching several places in Bradenton and Palmetto with no luck I came across Skip's Automotive in Sarasota. Once I went and spoke with Jessie, I knew he had the can do attitude to fix my van. As promised he fixed the electrical short on my van and kept an open line of communication throughout the process. I can't thank them enough for their honest service and fair rates. I highly recommend them. Don't waste your time and money with amateurs get it done right with the pros at Skip's Automotive!

I needed suspension airbags installed on my RAM. After we got to the shop that very next day It became apparent that Ron fit us in on a busy day. Between the quick response to my initial call and the excellent service, we highly recommend Skip's automotive!

I have a 2nd Gen Cts-v that I've taken to Skip's multiple times over the last couple years. They've done routine repairs and extensive performance mods to it. Their work is exceptional and they always use great care. The installation of the performance parts done by Jesse was impeccable. And there were many. Rob's tune was spot on! It's a beast that can still be driven daily.

Skip's Automotive replaced the transmission on my Nissan Juke. Pricing was fair and I've experienced no issues. The service was exceptional; they went above and beyond to ensure the repairs were complete and the car was ready when I needed it. Thank you Skips!

Robert was great to deal with, answering questions before I even became a customer. He was able to custom Tune my car and achieve Dyno results better than I expected for a better price than shops in Orlando were quoting. The work was done on-time and I even got a ride to the car rental shop that I used during the service.
The shop also installed custom headers and exhaust back pipes on my car, which caused the mufflers to get misaligned. Apparently the car was supposed to have been driven and then had the exhaust fittings adjusted and re-tightened; since this was not done, my muffler tips actually melted holes in my plastic bumper under valance. I sent Robert pictures and he made everything right by ordering a new OEM valance and having it shipped directly to my house.

Real reliable shop, can't say enough positive things about this shop. I am impressed and satisfied. Skips automotive has earned my business and will continue to earn my business. Thank You! Skips Automotive!

This is a great shop! They know what they're doing, everyone is friendly and they take the time to do things the right way! Lots of performance knowledge, I highly recommend.

I called for a second opinion for a head gasket job. The owner Rob told me he could "save" me some money. A week with my car, he called me and said it was $420 and he "reseated spark plugs". What bologna. Didn't even put new plugs in. I was never told an estimate, just a bill. Next day it was running terrible as before.
Rob did offer to take it back without charging me for diagnosing. A refund would have been suffice.
I got a head gasket job elsewhere and been running perfect since.

He's a really cool guy and is very informative and helpful. I'm going to work with him from now on with any automotive needs. Thank you again guys.

Best Performance shop in Sarasota, FL and surrounding areas.

I have a C7 Z06 that they tuned. Did an amazing job. Rob went above and beyond as my car was only making 4psi of boost, he knew it should be higher so he found out the previous owner/dealer capped off an important fitting which should be uncapped. Doing that made car go from 4psi to 9.5psi of boost.

A week after being tuned my car had work done at dealer (under warranty) and they ‘reflashed’ the tune back to stock so one call to Rob and he just said stop back in and he immediately reloaded his tune into the car. No charge; they again, go above and beyond.

I will ONLY be taking my car to Skips going forward. I am driving my car for 1 week to ensure warranty issue is fixed, then next appointment to drop off car for ported blower, lower pulley and re-tune. I will keep everyone updated as I continue to get work done. So far 5 stars!

The customer service you will get from Rob Wong the owner better than any other place you will go Rob will treat you like a friend not just another customer. One of the cleanest shops I've ever seen in my life. Best prices in town. The work Will be top notch. With no corners cut and no extra parts left off if you know what I mean. You're making a mistake if you take your car any where else

Only place in the greater Sarasota area I would take a car. Took my tuned stage 2+ 335i for a stage 2 clutch job, no one else would touch. Rob and his team gave me a quote over the phone and did a great job with the install. I can confidently say this place is honest and superior to any other place in the area.
