Skyway Fishing Pier State Park reviews
16A cozy place; ideal for spending time with the family, especially for fishing. We had a great time
Meh. Fishing used to be amazing here. After red-tide hit 2023, fishing has been scarce in most of the gulf regarding shore and pier fishing. Bait fish is about all that is caught here since the 2023 red-tide. Beautiful view, wonderful photos, though.
Paid $21 for 1 car and 4 people, even we only have 1 fishing rod, and only stay for 1 hour.
It is an interesting place to stop. There are multiple people who are fishing that were open to a few questions.
Awsome place to fish! Great people at the bait shop, as well as fully stocked. Unfortunately we came at a bad time so we didn't catch much but was fun and we did see dolphins!
Great group of guys at Skyway Bridge North - Angelo, Ken, TR, Julie, immediately upon arrival treated like family.
BTW! FISHING IS EXCELLENT!

Guy at booth took our money and then police closed pier. Guy at booth hauled when police came out to tell everyone to leave. I wanted my 20 back!
Caught about 100 pinkish, the birds loved us. Great place to bring kids to fish. No walking required, just drive up and start fishing.
Once you pay to enter 1 pier, your ticket is valid for 24 hours for both piers. Great photo op for the bridge.
Love the Skyway and have fished here all my life. The new rules regarding the pelicans is stupid and rediculous and is doing nothing other than causing frustration amongst the fishing community. Aside from that this place is so cool.
I am a veteran with service connected disability. I was charged 5 dollars for entrance fee even if I showed an annual disabled sunshine pass to the gate attendant. His reason was "the bridge was sold to a private entity since 1989". Is this true?
South pier
backside very dirty
restroom cleaner man clean
and trash can looking good
backside used people
die fish.bait small fish.bridge floor small no good
Nice place to fish. Great to have amenities like the bait shop and toilets. The guy in the bait shop was helpful but abrupt
It's not expensive, very reasonable. There's no telling who you will meet or what you will catch
Great fishing spot open 24hrs they have their own bait shop you do have to pay to enter but it is good for 24 hrs and you can leave and return within those 24 hrs without additional cost a real hidden gem for fishing spots
You can drive out on the old bridge to where you want to fish. Bring a cooler with drinks and food.
