Slice Masters NY Pizzeria / DeGiovannis Pizza, Tampa FL

I've been to a lot of spots in New York and New Jersey where I grew up and this place is just as good maybe even better. The crust is perfect and they have great wings along with a really tasty chicken parm entree. Definitely the best in Tampa highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious, husband and I ordered a large pie and garlic knots to share. The best garlic knots I've ever had honestly, so good! Very reasonable prices, a really good family owned business. I live about 35 min out and would come here again!

This has to be the best pizza I’ve had in FL. This compares well to Brooklyn style NY Pizza. If you’re within an hour of this place it’s worth the drive. Try it. You’ll thank me later

I don't know how this places gets such great reviews because my pizza wasn't that good. I don't think it was fully cooked, the pepperoni looked like it was barely warmed, and the dough was very doughy. NY pizza? I don't think so.

Pizza was good, but dining area was super small, so a large family came in, and the sound echoed everywhere, and hard to communicate with the other person I was with.

Pepperoni pizza was 7/10 (points taken away because slices were bigger than fast-food pizza, but not the size of a traditional NY style pizza and the crust was crunchy; but, the pizza was tasty and not very greasy) ; garlic knots 11/10 (SO GOOD! Fresh, hot, flavorful, soft but not undercooked) ; caesar salad 6/10 (salad was fine.lettuce was fresh but not very good quality-yellow/light green part of romaine is not my favorite-and the croutons were good-small-but it was a very basic salad.wish the presentation was a bit better and had some shredded parm on top). The total for a large pepp pizza, 6 knots, and a large salad, was $21 (+tip), which was really a great surprise. Overall, I'd say Slice Masters is one of the top pizza places in the Carrollwood/Northdale area. Quality is great for the price, too. I've tried New York New York Pizza, Anthony's, Best NY Pizza- the pizza here is the best of those.

Went in around 3: 30 (on a Thursday) the kid at the counter said they closed at 3 and only had 3 slices left as The other lady working there was putting in new ones. As we were waiting the kid was taking orders over the phone.they close at 9pm. Pizza wasn’t that good.

I was surprised on the quality, better than expected by a long shot. Not floppy, nice people, affordable, clean place.

I have lived in this area most of my young/ adult life. Slice masters has been here forever but maybe changed owners because the quality can change a lot. Tonight I made an order for take out. I clearly asked for a WHITE pizza with half pepperoni, I get home and open the box to find plain old cheese pizza/pepperoni. I called them and they were nice but still acted like it was my fault because the girl thought something else. So to be able to get the correct order I paid $35 not including a tip I left for them I had to bring the wrong pie back, wait for 15+minutes and then pay an extra 3$ for what I originally ordered and give them the wrong one back, waste my time/gas, pay extra and let my other food get cold. All for somewhat good food, guess ill take my business elsewhere and my family will too. I really gave them a chance to atleast offer a better deal because looking at what I got i paid way to much!

Love this place by far best pizza in town! Get the XL cheese with 12 garlic knots! Best 19 bucks your will every spend! I go so much everyone knows me by name!

We just ordered a to-go pizza and it was amazing! The staff were very nice and the pizza was ready quickly. Excited to go back:)

Pizza was good. Better than chain pizza. Person at the counter was really nice. Cook and counter staff were wearing masks, which I appreciate.

I have lived in the NY York / New Jersey area for my whole life and I came to Florida on vacation and found this gem of a spot. The crust incredible, cheese amazing, the garlic knots.to die for! If you want a great pie and from the Tampa Bay Area this is the place! Won’t disappoint!

I lived here five years ago and would go here pretty much every weekend and loved it. I moved back into town from Las Vegas and went here for the first time since 2015 last night and it was just as good as I remember it. Garlic Knots and Pizza were amazing. Glad to be back and will be returning again soon!

Their pizza was great! My niece and nephew got calzones. They were gigantic and generously filled with the requested fillings. I recommend their chicken wings as well.
