16COLD HOT TUBS! Sad that they advertise hot tubs that end up being ice cold…my other complaints: it takes what feels like 10 min just to walk to my room in a maze of hallways, only for the hotel staff to refuse food delivery drivers to deliver to your room. There are also terribly loud parties at this hotel, which cause elevator delays and mosh pits in the elevator itself.
I stayed at this hotel for a company retreat and had an extremely unpleasant experience. To start I was told upon arrival that all staff members would be taking covid 19 precautions, when I got my key and headed to the room there was a maid with no mask watching tv in the room. The room was filthy, a light yellow brown stain on the comforter/window curtain, stains on the roof (looked like previous leaking). I didn't complain because It was covered by the company and It was only for 2 nights (I didn't want to be difficult.) I checked out and was told there were no charges to my card (which I had to give on file for any incidentals- mind you I only slept and showered in this room). A day later I see a charge of $37.45 for room merchandise? I didn't use anything in the room other than the bed & bathroom. I definitely did not buy or take anything from the room which I explained to the hotel in 3 separate phone calls. All three times I called I was told I would receive a call back. I NEVER received any response back. I filed a claim with my bank and SLS responded saying they have proof - there proof was a copy of the receipt with the charge? Anyone can charge someone and show the receipt that doesn't mean the person actually took the items in question. What a tacky/class-less hotel running scams and neglecting to return calls/give decent customer service. Avoid this place, apart from the dirty accommodations they will try to pull a fast one on you and hope you won't notice. I am currently on the phone with my bank working towards getting this charge removed. BEWARE AND STAY ELSE WHERE. (Check other reviews on Yelp you will see that charging customers for items they didn’t use/take is a pattern for this crooked business)
Front desk changes rules according to the shift they on. I used to be a front desk agent, so I know. They can't open the door because they are hiding in the back so they want you to come to the front
One of the best hotels in brickell. Great decor and spacious rooms. Friendly staff and amazing amenities. Highly recommended for a couples getaway. The food is ok they have a small menu for room service and breakfast is not included.
I stay usually at this hotel on business trips. Last time, however, they applied $650 in ‘guest room damages’ after I had checked out, no explanations. The Hotel does not reply to my emails inquiring about the issue and they hang up when I call.
My husband and I, along with some cousins came here for the resort pass and we had a great and fun time in the pool! The service here is pretty amazing, the staff went above and beyond to make our time here special. The food (pizza) is tasty and the drinks were on point! We definitely will be back soon! Highly recommend this fun spot!
Jemeisha the manager was highly unprofessional. Due to her very rude methods sls brickell lost a very loyal customer. I’ve had so many great experiences previous. She hung up the phone on me fairly abruptly and could of done a far greater job. It appears she had a personal interest in making my stay uncomfortable. If the hierarchy witnessed her gestures she would be terminated immediately.
So sls the hotel was great but.valet.tried to steal my friends car.basically we are trying to leave early in the morning and someone from the night shift took out the programmer in her key, they explains 8 different stories of what happened and no one could tell us a straight story. Definitely the most bizarre situation and we called the police because we felt like it was sketchy.anyway be careful ppl!
Hello, my name is hai sarussi, I stayed at the hotel between the dates 22/ 08 -23/08, in the last few days I noticed a positive charge for your credit card even though the bill for the night I stayed was already paid in full. The cost of the additional payment charged on the card is $ 160. After an inquiry with a hotel company through which the deal at your hotel was closed, I was told that I was charged a card by you in this amount because an audio accessory was taken from the room. I do not know what it is, it is a pity that the experience in your hotel should end in the way I am committed to an item that I have no idea what it is and there is no proof of it so you can just charge me without explanation. I would love to get detailed information for the same item that you claim was taken from the room however I note that as I entered so I left the room without taking any item. If you have proof that an object was taken by me, I would be happy to know about it. I would love to have your answer soon. Thank you and good day.
Upon entering everything was a mess, the hotel check in was understaffed. They left our bags in the lobby unattended. The rooms were beyond filthy; dirt in the sinks hair in the sinks. The floors & the toilets in the bathroom were dirty, the mirrors were dirty. Everything was not up to par for $750 incidentals on each room. On top of the $2100 for the rooms. The money is not worth it. The beds are fulls not queens & the manger refused to issue any kind of resolution. 0/10 would not recommend. We will be calling corporate in the morning. The health & well being of the guests were not put first and being that COVID is still around it’s as if we are not in pandemic.
The pool area was my target. The guys there are incredibly natural. Great atmosphere. Good service. The place is very clean.
My husband and I had an amazing stay. We were only there for one night so we didn't get to use all the amenities at the hotel. The only thing that could be better is the water pressure in the shower.
Did the resort day pass. The pool area is amazing. The pool side service was nice. I ordered the chips and guacamole, strawberry margarita and the charcuterie board. Staff workers provide as many towels as you need. The music was the only downside. The "dj" played played techno the whole time it was tragic. Overall I would definitely go back
Apartments are nice. But this place sets the world record for slowest elevators. You WILL wait 5 minutes + for an elevator
I am writing this review because Maxina at the front desk was a life saver!
I had left my ID by the pool bar during the day and came by the hotel at night doubtful that I would be seeing my license that evening. A few phone calls later, she tells me it was located and one of the security guards brought it down. Shout out to the security guard whos name I cant remember too
Only visited the pool bar area for an event. It was absolutely beautiful and every single staff member we met was attentive and wonderful!
