Had a good experience at SMILE DESIGN DENTISTRY.

Dr Phennatda is very courteous and very caring with her patients.

She is very honest and does take her time explaining to the

patient regarding what needs to be done etc.

Staff is super friendly and always on time once you have an

appointment.

They had the most polite staff. It was very easy to talk with them and trust them. They work in such a comfortable environment, its so nice. Unlike any dentist office I've ever been to. Ask for Jessy if you need help with your dental needs she will actually take the time to sit with you answer all of your questions and find a way to make it happen.

Be careful with their billing. Confirming appointments is another thing. We didn't have a single visit without being required to contact our insurance to get refund because Smile Design on Bee Ridge would always overcharge. They don't even know what they have charged you for and often they are unable to provide invoice with list of charges. We finally got tired of dealing with them and moved to another dentist.

I just wanted to share that having tooth issues is an overwhelming problem. I called smile design dentistry, and I really didn’t know what to ask or how to go about it as I have not had a cleaning or an exam for years. I recently got insurance through an employer. The front desk was really great to me. I it was great talking to Jessica when she was able to break things down for me and help me understand what my best options would be. I’m definitely going to book with this practice. I feel really comfortable with who I spoke to and am looking forward to getting my teeth fixed.

Office staff is awesome. I come here for cleanings and have had two crowns at this location. The dental assistants are kind and patient as well as the doctor. I had an issue with billing- I spoke with Jessie the office manager she was very caring and attentive to my problem. She promised me they are big on customer service and she would get back with me. She called me the next day with a resolution to my billing issue. This kind of care is rare in todays world, nice to be at an office that is honest and fair. Highly recommended!

I paid 3200 dollars for an implant that is not stable, after three times that I have to fix it they told me that they had the crown wrong I had to start the job again.bad bad bad experience. I'm sure I will never go back

Great place, super friendly staff. Dr. Phenn put me at ease with her gentle bedside manner. Jessy, the office manager is my new best friend ️ I highly recommend this place. I never gave to wait to be seen.

Always have such a great experience at Smile design! To start off Jessy in the front is amazing and so helpful and kind and very attentive with all patients! Karen is the sweetest and most gentile dental assistant ever! I have had the pleasure of having Dr Phen work on me just a few times but she is amazing as well! I found this office when I first moved back and have no regrets! They are all great I love this office!

Update: Service was completed today.

Update: The service has not yet been completed, but they have redone the post and put in a new temporary. I should get the new crown in three weeks. So far, I am very pleased as to how this situation is being handled.

Update: The office manager, Jessie, did contact me and I went to the office yesterday. They put the crown back in temporarily. I have an appointment for after the holidays to go back in and have the crown redone at no charge. I will come back and update again after the service has been completed.

I had four crowns replaced. One keeps popping off. It came off just a few months after I had it done, and they charged me $190 to put it back on, and then it popped off again in less than a year. I left several messages and asked if they got my voicemail to leave any time the next day that I could come in. Someone called once and left a VM and no time to come in. That was it after all my calls. Horrible work and even worse service. The only reason I did get a call from them was to confirm an appointment and see if I could come in earlier for a cleaning. They said I could have just came in without calling. Well, why didn't they say that on my voicemail? Would you leave work and just go in not knowing if they would take you or how long you would be there? I can't. Needless to say, I canceled the cleaning and won't be scheduling the bridge replacements there.

The expert care I received from the staff and dentist for an implant was excellent. The office staff worked with me to solve an insurance issue. I would recommend this Smile Design office.

I am so pleased with this office. The staff and office manager Jessy are truly professional and warm. Dr Phen is one amazing dentist. She placed an implant from start to finish. I did not experience any pain. She is calm and gentle. She explains the procedure as she is doing it. I highly recommend this office and Dr Phen for a pleasant dental experience. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Smile Design on Bee Ridge. I had to spend hours dealing with their billing department due to them sending bills after they were paid. I was also overcharged for services that my insurance covered and was told that I would receive a refund which never came. I had to deal with that in person months later. But most concerning is the major issue with a locked jaw that happened right after receiving dental work. I really hate leaving bad reviews but based on my experience I felt I had to share.

Jessy in the front office was wonderful. They do need more staff. Jessy did a wonderful job taking care of the all the front office work and taking care of the patients checking in and checking out.
Cindy is my hygienist. She is amazing. I trust her. Her knowledge and skill is superb.

Like most people I put off going to the dentist until it was too late. I found Dr. Phennatda (Dr. P for short) and the staff at Smile Design on Bee Ridge and my apprehension about going to the dentist is gone. Dr. P is professional, knowledgeable, skilled and on top of all that, is very personable, she cares about her patients.
