Smoothie King, Sarasota FL

As my daily commute takes me past the Fruitville and Honore location I thought I'd stop in to give them a try. I decided upon the 20oz Gladiator with strawberries and bananas. The drink started out OK enough until I noticed the straw quickly begin to clog up on me. Thinking it was from pieces of fruit at the bottom of my cup much to my disappointment when I took off the top to find a considerablev amount of large pieces of uncrushed ice. This is entirely unacceptable for a smoothie as I can do a much better job at home with my thirty dollar blender. Needless to say I will not be going back and will encourage others to do likewise. Extremely disappointed.

To Camryn who was my server and The one who made my smoothie, you two are THE BEST! I called in my smoothie as I am in a rush to Miami to take care of my mother in law who’s having surgery and the note they left on my cup was greatly appreciated! Very good smoothie. The young lady at the window was chipper and cheerful.can't say the same for every person I've encountered working the window there, but she's been nice and polite each encounter

Just tried to place an order at 8: 45 they said they were closed and closed the window in front of me. They also had both drive through windows closed.

The Smoothies were fine but was disappointed with how the guy took my order. For the two kids Smoothies he asked if I want the Greek yogurt with it and I said sure but didn't know that it was going to add 2 dollars to the bill. Then I got an orange smoothie for my son and the employee said those ones come with an extra add on and he suggested Strawberries. So I said sure again and that ended up being another dollar charge. In the end I'm not gonna go make a big complaint with them but that was a disheartening experience. Be warned.

Post workout I pulled up to get a smoothie at 8: 29pm. Before I could even say anything she cut me off and she said her systems are down.and we can't order smoothies. Every place I've been through has an alternative if that happens. I don't think there systems where actually down cause when we were leaving she was staring at us drinking a smoothie and laughing. I had a question about the menu and she didn't give me a chance to ask either. Next morning I called and was able to ask my question but was hung up on.
