Snook's Bayside Restaurant & Grand Tiki, Key Largo FL

Place is exactly why you go to the keys.rezzy needed if you want a table but they serve the full menu anywhere including the standup deck rail which also happens to have the best view of the sunset

The good news was that the setting is beautiful for sunset and the service was very good. The food however was very disappointing and I don't feel management handled complaints appropriately

I had one of the specials, the Pesto Seafood, which was significantly upcharged ($46) because of the included baked lobster tail. Unfortunately, the lobster tail was mush inside of a shell and was inedible. I'm honestly not sure it was even lobster meat.

I discreetly pulled our server aside and mentioned the issue and left the untouched tail on the plate. When they returned with the bill, he let me know the manager agreed to take $5 off. While I appreciated the gesture, that discount was an insult considering the much higher price of the entree.

Others in my party were disappointed in their chicken selections and the Key Lime pie so I would suggest that, overall, the food quality at Snooks is poor.

The BEST place EVER! Make sure to have rsvp, they sell out quick. We had amazing margaritas, yummy scallops wrapped in bacon appetizer. But the entrees, were the pièce de résistance. My husband had the surf and turf special with an amazing buttery soft filet mignon, lobster tail that melted, and a deliciously crusted crab cake served with potatoes and green beans. I had the hazelnut chicken breast topped with mandarin slices, potatoes and green bean pepper sauté. It was so juicy! The sunset views are gorgeous, everyone is very happy and inviting. Our server Matthew was very knowledgeable, check in with is often, and was overall very nice and experienced. We thought we would need to go boxes, but everything was just too good. Everything was bursting with flavor. Will definitely come here when we’re back in the keys again. Family friendly. Live music. Had the key lime pie. Best decision. Light and fluffy. Overall experience was awesome! Highly highly recommend. Had to share this gem with you guys.

Excellent food and the staff was amazing especially our server and Erik. I highly recommend it.

Snook's Bayside Restaurant & Grand Tiki on Overseas Highway on Key Largo is a great place to get delicious food and drinks with views of the water and a nice breeze. Everything on the menu is fresh and well prepared and ready quickly after ordering. They have a really relaxed and cool atmosphere where you can really enjoy your meal. Excellent service and good overall experience.

The food, service, music and the beautiful sunset were espectacular as always. I recommend making reservations ahead.

Food was excellent. This place is on the expensive side. The food is definitely great. It's all open air seating. There's a well shaded section if you want to cool down a little. We had the Ahi nachos which were amazing and the yellow tail snapper with the crab cake and it was delicious as well.

Incredible sunset dinner view, live music, GREAT food, and strong cocktails! This is a must if you’re on vacation near or in Key Largo.

Went for a weekday getaway with friends. GPS didn't accurately get us to the location, but we figured it out. Food was yummy and the drinks were decent. The view is were it's at! The staff is friendly and our waitress was attentive.

Atmosphere was amazing. Staff was also outstanding. We only spent 3 Days here but we never left the comfort of Snooks. Great job guys. Thank you

We went here after traveling all day. We felt pretty underdressed. This is definitely more formal verse casual. We ordered their tuna nachos which after traveling to other restaurants I would say snooks has the best tuna nachos out of all the other places we stopped in the keys. The sunset is absolutely gorgeous here, the vibe is very relaxing. The service was great and friendly!

Great food, beautiful view, great music, but service was only good when the head of the waitress helped. The waitress was not as good as everything else. We waited for the bill to be corrected 4 times and at the end the bill was still calculated wrong when splitted and the credit card was almost lose by them.

The food was good and the portions were generous. I had the Snooks Indicision platter and it was very tasty. The cocktails are a little expensive but very good too. The live music was great and the setting next to the water was awesome.

Food and drinks just ok. We were told the tiki bar and inside bar had food available, then were told the tiki bar wasn't open but the inside bar was. Then we were told food wasn't available at all until 5. The drinks tasted like what college kids drink. Nothing special here.

We had a beautiful dinner. Everything was delicious, beautiful location to watch the sunset. Prices are not on the cheap side but definitely worth it. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the food and area.
