SOD DEPOT & GRAVEL reviews
6NOT ALOT OF HELP ON DELIVERY OR INSTALLS BUT FAIR TO MIDLAND PRICES ON PLANTS SOD N ROCK BULK BUYING.
Retail sod by the pallet. Friendly staff, answering many phone calls.
We are so very pleased with this company, start to finish! They are busy, but prompt to return calls; product will always be fresh and high quality (they get a fresh order every day), folks there are nice to work with, and the installation crew were very skilled and professional. A special thanks to all the crew!
I ordered premium soil I got soil with large wood pieces and chopped up trash. I even got some bones in there. I assume cattle. Ok now the delivery was fast and the price was ok.
I needed three pallets of St. Augustine sod delivered and installed. One pallet was for my back yard near the river that had access restricted by a five foot wide gate. I tried several of the many posts on Marketplace and found the prices quite high and the contractors less than professional. Got a sense that many were “fly by night” operations. I decided to give Sod Depot a call. What a surprise, their prices were about a third less than the guys from Marketplace. Not only that, the sod was delivered and installed the next day. It was obvious that the sod was fresh cut too. But the best part was the installation. The two installers were very diligent in their work and very detailed. I know the Marketplace guys wouldn’t have done anywhere close to the job that Sod Depot did. Go with the Palm Bay Sod Depot, you’ll be very satisfied.
I bought 6 scoops (bucket of a front end loader) the soil looks rich and dark. A bit on the pricey side and the delivery fee was $75 for less than a 10 mile distance. I will know if it was worth it when I reap my garden crops in the coming 6 months.
