Sofrito Latin Cafe reviews
13There is a lack of better attention and patience from the person who attends the entrance.
This is one of our two favorite restaurants when visiting Orlando’s area. We never get tired of eating there. They are a mix of Venezuelan, Colombian, Peruvian, and Cuban cuisine. We love you guys.
This place was AMAZING! I got the Tripleta sandwich which was excellent. Everyone ekskse in my party enjoyed their meals too, including the Cuban Sandwich, fried plantains, and churros. I would 100% recommend this place.
I bring my boys down to Orlando a couple times a year and one of the things I look forward to most is eating here. I try and stop by 2-3 times during our stay. The food is always good, reasonably priced and eating on the (completely covered) patio is awesome especially during a rain storm. My favorite place to eat in Florida by far!
Colombian empanada not like the real ones. Very poor quality. Order along coffee and arrived at the end. Servers not there to serve.
The food is that kind of comforting Latin cuisine that hits the spot every time. The staff are always kind. Getting into the parking lot is a little bit of a struggle if traffic is bad palm Parkway. Definitely recommend though!
I always visit Sofrito's at least once when we are snow birding it. This year was no exception. I will say I did something I never had done before. I ordered a Cuban sandwich to go with black beans and the fried red snapper to eat while I was there. I figured it was time to branch out and have something other than what I consider the best Cuban sandwich out there. The snapper was great I would recommend it. BUT, the sandwich was still the best even having it the next day. It was great! I probably will take one home the next time there and try something else. I'm living on the edge.
I visited this place while traveling in Orlando twice and the food is truly excellent. The only issue I have is that *both* times I went here they forgot part of my order.
The first time, they delivered the food to everyone else at my table but forgot mine. After waiting around 10 minutes more, I asked someone about it and about 10 minutes later than that I finally got my food once my table was almost finished.
The second time, I got most of my meal but not the Nutella Empanada. However, the wait for that was even longer because after finishing my meal, asking someone about the empanada, waiting another 15 minutes and asking a *second* person about the missing food, I finally got it.
Admittedly, the Nutella Empanada is extremely delicious, but the service at Sofrito is of a much lower quality.
Dreamt for a yr about their chicken soup. Coming from Maryland. But this yr, very very salty, overcooked, weird tasting. So disappointed. Tried second time, just as bad. You lost me.
Breakfast was excellent today love the portions of every meal, we will definitely comeback and highly recommend it
This place is AMAZING! Every single thing was a win, from the quick and easy ordering to the variety of affordable and amazing dishes, to the wait time and friendly service in a comfortable and cozy ambiance! Can't recommend this place enough!
This is the spottt! So delicious and well seasoned food. We ordered pick up and it was ready in 10mins. I love how they have different options from several Latin American countries. Definitely coming back!
This place is amazing. I felt like I was in Miami. Authentic Latin American cuisine. Friendly and attentive staff. I had the croquetas and avocado toast. Que rico!
