This place is disgusting! There needs to be urgent inspections to ensure these facilities abide by federal and state standards! Which I know they are not! My grandmother was just recenty admitted. The first thing I see is black mold on her windowsill. BLACK MOLD! This is unacceptable and we are looking at other options.

Recently my dad needed extended care. He has been at Solaris since June. I was told Solaris was one of the better SNF in the area. I am really glad I listened. He has been well taken care of. He likes the food and that is what counts. People are friendly and the place is clean.

No one called to tell my friend her brother had passed! Someone should have taken responsibility to call the family member/POA of her brother. My friend went to visit her brother like she does several times a week only to be informed that he had passed away 6+ hours ago. The body had already been picked up. I dont know who dropped the ball, nurses, doctors or staff! YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELFS. How could you be so careless! So oblivious to do that to an elderly person that was already suffering enough.

My mom broke her hip and from the hospital went there. The nurses and staff are amazing and treat patients amazing. Smile and say hello from the person changing the room to the Doctors and Nurses. The place is clean and run very well. They care about their clients.

The only way to describe this place is in one word. Negligent. My grandmother was sent to this facility where the nursing staff left her blood sugar rarely checked. Twice during the two weeks that she was there her sugar dropped as low as 39 mg/dL. When this happened the "skilled nursing facility" gave her orange juice instead of FDA approved D10, D50, or Oral Glucose. After only two weeks of physical and occupational therapy miraculously they claimed she was good to go home. In reality, the Hospital doctor mistakenly put a deadline on her stay which ended the facility's payments. The end of this story is that she came home and fell 2 hours later and had to go back to the hospital. I will be contacting DCF for elder abuse and a lawyer because of this facilities negligence.
