Solaris HealthCare Plant City

There should be a phone in EVERY patient room. Why only C-wing patients get one? This is ridiculous. The only option is to be transferred to a nurse or nursing station and they can take a cell phone to your family member. What!? And half the time no one even answers the call or you're conveniently hung up on! THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. EVERY PATIENT SHOULD HAVE A PHONE IN THEIR ROOM FOR LOVED ONES TO CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY. Also, the carpet is always dirty, especially in A wing.

Yes, I used to work there. They hit their customers. They abused them, they slapped them. Tell them to shut up. Their food is bad. They wash the clothes on 10 when they're supposed to be washed on for which they are, that's even isolation. They are very disrespectful. Bad a bad ribes. I would not put my my parent on my dad in that nursing home.

My mother has been here for a week for long term care.and thus far it has been great.very clean and the staff has been great.my mother has been attended to with the best care.

Solaris Plant city B wing is a joke. The charge nurse has no control of her staff. The all sit around. And if you parent falls its not the staffs fault ever. I'm filing suit. This place is a joke. Never send a loved one to Solaris, B wing anyway. What a bunch of clowns.

Ya this place won't let my bfs gma leave for even a day, they said that she would be forfeiting her room? ! I didn't realize this place was a prison when we put her in there, so messed up.

I am writing a review as a travel nurse here in Florida. This Solaris facility is one of THE BEST in nursing home / rehab facility's I have worked in. Every department is kind, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. I have to mention the CNA's here because they are so helpful and I never here them say" that's not my patient " when asking for for assistance. I see them working together as a team with kindness. I hope the admins know what they have here. A great team, clean, friendly environment

Hidden and neglectful. This place puts on good airs of caring, but once behind the scenes you witness the nightmare! Cheap cooperation, short staffed to dangerous degree. Residents denied basic care and lack of security. How does a facility allow a resident to be assaulted by a stranger that sneaks in to building off the street? ,! Kinda makes you feel unsafe after reading news articles about incident. Front office blames residents family for being upset, are you kidding me? @. All in all a dangerous lawsuit hidden behind a pretty picture, no thank you. I am out!

My sister was in Solaris. They treated her with respect and compassion. They are very caring and considerate of their clients.

It appears that patients are kept dehydrated so that staff don't have to help them to the toilets. One patient ended up in the emergency room due to severe dehydration. I heard others complaining about thirst and one visitor angry that her mother was not given enough to sate her thirst. Many staff members are kind and competent, but obviously not all.
