Sonny's BBQ, Gainesville FL

Having just moved here I thought I would try Sonny's BBQ. The service was lackluster, my waitress forgot the side of Carolina sauce, looked around and could not spot her. So I mentioned it to another waitress that was cleaning tables, she goes back to the kitchen and doesn't return. Finally I stood up and went back toward the kitchen and asked if I'd have to get it myself. With a huff the second waitress brought it, looking like it was about to kill her, no apology, no smiles. The first waitress came back to ask if I needed anything, again no apology no care. Not to mention that I was seated over by the window across the room and yet could hear the constant conversation between the employees from the serving area. I'll never waste my money at this establishment.

Ribs were dry and bland like clueless12yr old newbie did them, coleslaw was best part of the meal. Some lady got ahold of me 3 times wanting ph. # name ect said she was c.o. And would make it right, this went on for 6 weeks and nothing. Thinking they just wanted to put my name/# on file for future crapy'meals lol nope not happening sonny, need a minus option on here for the rude c.o. Lady

They don't follow instructions well on delivery orders. I got half of what I ordered and ubereats is only refunded me 4 dollars and some change back. Now I have to order something else from another restaurant.

Don't know what has happened to Sonny's. We have eaten there for years. Always good food and service. Not anymore. Horrible service. When we entered the store, we stood their for a good while. Wait staff, employees passing us by one by one. No greeting. No, I'll be right with you. Completely ignoring us. We eventually left. They didn't care. Why should they? After all it's not their store.
