Sonny's BBQ, Tallahassee FL

Enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich immensely. Everything I ate from several kinds of meats to the veggies was awesome. Staff was very attentive, personable, and quick.

My husband and I love Sonny's! Both of us grew up with a local Sonnys BBQ and they rock!

The service is great, the food is terrific, never a disappointment. Absolutely love the loaded tots with pulled pork on top. Yum!

Food was great, waitress was very kind. Was a little slow getting to us at times.but like every other restaurant in most states they are short staffed. She had her hands full and did her best. Not her fault no one wants to work. I like the modern look of the restaurant.

40 minute wait even though plenty of seats available. Wait due to backed up kitchen. Yikes.

My call in order was incorrect. Unfortunately, I had to wait for them to correct. The staff was very accommodating.

The food was amazing like always but the service sucked! Hardly filled filled our drinks, I didn't get all my foods I had to take it to go when everyone was done with theres. I will say this this is my first ever having a bad experience and I've been there several times. She could've been new or something like that cause she was cleaning and staying busy.

Was told there was a thirty minute wait we waited forty five minutes and was told there would be another thirty to forty five minute wait I will not return to this location

I have never had an issue in all my years of eating Sonny’s BBQ until yesterday! I picked up our food from curbside with great service. I hadn’t eaten any other solid food, except Sonny’s yesterday. Hours after eating Sonny’s food, I woke up with stomach pains, resulting in vomiting and diarrhea, AKA food poisoning. Sonny’s barbecue I am highly disappointed!

Called twice to place a catering order here the first time I was on hold for 15 mins the second time no answer and I have been calling in-between 2pm-4pm. I even signed up for catering online and never received a call. So the Timberlane location is getting my money. Timberlane picked up my call on the first ring and got my order for a large catering in while I was on the phone with them. The Monroe location needs new management it seems.

Good food, great service. They even put the TV on the Georgia/Tennessee game for me. Big deal since we were in FSU country and that meant turning away from that game.

I ordered ahead for pickup with ample time yet waited for over 20 minutes past that time for my order to be ready.

Once I was home I opened the box and my grilled chicken sandwich was literally just a bun and the chicken. It says served with lettuce, tomato and onion, but there was no sign of a veggie anywhere. Completely disappointing.

Edit: I emailed as they requested in the reply to my review and no one ever got back to me.

Our waitress Kristina was very pleasant and an absolute professional as our server. Our meals were exact and delicious as always. Sweet tea was awsome. Thank you

We are still eating outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our picnic. The food was great. The service was excellent.
