Sonny's BBQ, Sanford FL

Great service and consistent barbecue. The restaurant was extremely busy, but we never felt unattended.

Food is always great. Service is usually ok, or just plain terrible. Went in last night, server didn’t bring out my child’s food earlier like I requested. About 4 minutes after our meal came out she came by and handed our check to us. Personally, that felt like she could care less we were there, and felt like an inconvenience to her. I served for 10 years of my life and I would never hand someone their check before I even asked if they wanted desert. Missed opportunity for her. I understand bringing the check early for lunch, this was dinner. I’m just always disappointed in ther service here. Jamie is hands down the best server there.

Went with a friend who knew of the drive through. Have to admit I was skeptical of lenght of time for this type of food. Pleasantly surprised that the food came out quickly, the order was correct and delicious!

The food was extremely overpriced for what I received, and it wasn't that good. No I won't be back.

Sonny's BBQ has made a change of there business. The new look is really great and much better. The food is always tasty and with a delicious flavor.

Didn't get what I wanted, Wait time sucks, Cornbread, awesome, foods needs to be served a little bit more hot

Just had the sweet BBQ grilled cheese brisket sandwich and french fries do the drive-thru window which was awesome because I only had to wait 6 minutes it was so good that i lick the styrofoam box clean!

Great place with very friendly staff. My food came quick and was hot. I love sonnys and this one is the best by far. I will definitely come back. Easy to to find

The place is got a nice renovation people and service always good definitely a place to stop in for a quick bite to eat.

The lady that took my order isn't nice. Usually when your order up the will have you check it with them. Not her! I got burnt corn cob and they forgot his coleslaw.

Sony's BBQ in Sandford was great place for original baby back or St. Luis sweet smoky flavor - the service was friendly - highly recommended

Food was great, although beans could have been hotter. Under going refurbishment right now so a bit dark and unfinished. Should be a better ambience once finished (we hope). But the food was as good as ever, recommended.

Excellent food the waitress seemed to be a little bit fighty. We didn't get exactly what we asked for, but they made it right after we mentioned it to her.

Service acceptable but food was not. Fries cooked in old oil.yuk. Sliced pork had too much fat.yuk. Beans and bread were ok. Disappointed for someone from Ohio looking for something really good. Torn seat cover says a lot about.mgmt priorities.not good.

Yummy smoked turkey, the best in town! Service was exceptional. Servers work together to make certain all customers are well taken care of.

Placed my order at 4pm for a delivery at 5pm to 5: 30pm and was advise the driver is unavailable, canceled my order. Ouch, I would never order from this establishment ever. The lady on the phone never tried to win my business.ouch #3

They told us that the don't have anymore chicken for the all you can eat, but the next couple to come in they only said they don't have anymore sliced brisket. Fail in my opinion.

Service has slipped some, I remember in the day when you got a good hot quality meal.now a days you get cold, dry food which is served by waitresses that really don’t seem interested in delivering quality service. You get a salad bar that is not well maintained/stocked. Sticky booths, debris under the tables and generally no longer the experience we had been accustomed to. Shame on you Sonny’s.

Not a lot of options but everything is great and flavorful. Always get the redneck egg rolls. Those alone are a great meal lol!

I am only giving this five stars because of my girlfriend and it's her favorite BBQ place. However, I will admit it was better than the gas station BBQ I ate at a few days later that gave me diarrhea. So check it out, it's tasty at least!
