Sonny's Famous Steak Hogies, Hollywood FL

Been wanting to go to Sonny’s since I saw it on Diners, Drive Inns and Dives and was finally able to make it in. It did not disappoint in the slightest. The staff was beyond friendly and the food was out of this world good. It makes me think the drive from Tampa isn’t that bad when the food is that good.

Delicious as usual! This place has been a landmark in holly wood for 65 years. Stop in for lunch or dinner and you will understand why it was featured on diners drive and dives! Keep in mind it’s cash only!

The bread definitely Not philly bread by no means. The cheesesteak fabulous but the bread needs to change for sure. Service great, fast and friendly! The decor hasn't changed in 50 yrs but with yummy sandwiches you can overlook or take to go. No fries, no onion rings no homemade potato chips just lays. Worth a trip for sure.

One of the best hoagies in south Florida, not too salty and cooked to perfection. Make sure you bring cash. Garlic bread is pretty good here too but is only served during dinner times.

The guy was kind and helpful and great conversation while we waited for our order. Food Made to order and tasty.

Good Real Philly Cheesesteak. Best around South Florida. Rolls are good close to the Real deal.

What a wonderful experience. It was my first time but the folks I joined for lunch are regulars. The food and service are excellent.

Favorite is still the chicken cutlet sandwich.
Steak hoagies are great and versatile

You simply haven't lived until you try this legendary sandwich. The service and the people are electric. I must, no I will be back soon! There is something for everyone on the menu. Food is fresh and served to order. Just how I like it! Serving its patrons for 65 years now, amazing!
